"nari." you say, a smile on your face and a pink gift bag in your hands.

your smile disappeared when i didn't call you k. it quickly resurfaced when we held the gift bag out in front of you.
"i was in japan for a while, my mom wanted me to send you these. it's a gift from her to you. she knows we're not together anymore but she likes you. so here. take it." you say like you're an old friend.
"thank you."
"thank you for all the years you put up with me, nari. you're such a great person and you deserve everything good. i'm sorry for all i put you through. you will forever hold a special place in my heart...anyway, i'll see you around."
and with that, you left.
