"Jimin let's go play outside again" Jimin bit his lips

" I can't Jungkookie I have to study or my eomma will be very mad if I don't score 100" Jungkook frowned at the answer but nodded.

Jungkook left Jimin's house with slumped shoulders. Jungkook was 10 and Jimin was 12 they had been good friends since last year when they first met.

Jungkook knew Jimin could rarely hangout yet he asked everyday. It happened all through there childhood up even to there early teen years. But every time they hung out. Time flew by and they had the most fun.

Both went to different schools Jimin went to a private school while Jungkook attended a regular public school.

Jimin had gotten in with a scholarship while Jungkook wasn't quite as smart.

Every time Jimin could hang out it felt as if Jungkook had won the lottery. As kids they would bike around the neighborhood and play with the chalk. And as early teens they would hangout in parks and library's because Jimin had wanted to go. As much as Jungkook hated reading. It didn't matter as long as he was with his bestfriend.

One day out of nowhere Jimin seemed more free. Jungkook was confused but happy.

" hey Jungkook let's go out to a party." Those sentences shocked Jungkook but nevertheless he agreed.

When he tried questioning Jimin but he would always get the same response.

" I want to live this final year to the fullest." He said with a tight smile on his face.

Jungkook nodded assuming Jimin was talking about his last year in highschool.

They went out and drunk for the first time. Jimin became clingy they eventually kissed and became a couple.

They dated secretly knowing Jimin's family was conservative.

It wasn't hard to fall In love when they were basically the same people. They shared many interests you would think they are siblings. But to each other they were each other's missing pieces. They completed each other.

"Jungkookie?" Jimin called out in a small voice.

Jungkook looked up from his phone and said, "yes my love?"

Jimin blushed and smiled with sad eyes and said " you are me and I am you"

Jungkook smiled brightly nodding taking Jimin's hand and bringing it up to his lips pressing a gentle kiss.

" I love you Jimin-ah" Jimin teared up

" I love you too Jungkookie, I'll always love you even when I'm gone."

Jungkook smiled and said, " what do you mean when your gone?"

Jimin shook his head clearly hiding something and said, " it's nothing, forget it." He said in a calm voice. Jungkook choose to not push further knowing Jimin wouldn't budge and nodded.

Everything was smiles and happiness up until that day.

It started normal with Jungkook waiting outside Jimin's house to walk him to school.

When Jimin walked out he had a red mark on his left cheek. He had clearly been slapped. With worried eyes Jungkook pulled Jimin by his hand and examined his face.

" what happened to your face jiminie?"

Jimin smiled and asked, " could we please ditch school and spend the whole day together?" Completely ignoring the question.

Jungkook than asked, " won't your mom get mad if you miss school?"

Jimin sighed peacefully, for the first time he looked free like he had no worries. Jimin smiled brightly and said, " that won't matter after today."
