Flirting At Work Pt. 1

Work was a bit different to most peoples.You're a barmaid so your shifts were mainly 10pm-3am on weekends so you sure had the sights of viewing
the incredibly drunk early 20's boys and girls.You and your workmates always have a giggle at what stupid things they would do and how
they would dare each other to try and get free drinks.You dont really take yourself too seriously so you always end up joking around with
them too to have a laugh.
It was Friday night so everyone was dressed up but you wasn't really feeling that good.You'd been a bit down but as soon as you arrived at work
there was one person that could instantly cheer you up.It was your other workmate Dan who was very.. attractive to say the least but that
made coming into work a bit of a reward.The time was 10:30 and the bar was quite quiet but you knew that when it gets to 11 things are
going to pick up. You go around the tables wiping them over with a cloth and then you feel someone pinch your sides
"OUCH." You turned around to see Dan quickly moving his fingers away from your side.
"Jesus Christ dan you cant just go up to people like that without warning" you say as you carried on wiping the table trying not to smile.
You had developed a huge crush on Dan ever since you both started working here at the same time and he was quite flirty with you.But
you thought that was just his way of being.He was flirty with all the other female staff too.
"Oh come on (y/n) lighten up.Its not as if we have any costumers apart from Old Man Larry who comes in here to perv on the girls"he showed
his dimple when he smiled at you.Giving you a wink just to make you melt even more inside.Your stomach had got butterflies and you could
definitely feel your cheeks burning up.You take in a deep breath and try to carry on with your work.
You went back over to the bar where Dan was cleaning the glasses,you tried to keep yourself calm but unfortunately that wasnt happening.
You put the cloth away and went over to the till to count the money.Then out of the corner of your eye you notice dan turn to look at you.
"Problem Dan?" you say thinking that two can play that game.You thought this was a strong move as you wasnt sure whether you could
hide the fact you think about him most nights.
Then he slid past you making sure every inch of his clothing touched the back of your clothes.It made you shudder.You clenched onto the
side as he made your insides squirm.He knew what made you tick and then he over stepped the mark.You turned your head and headed for the
bathroom to cool down.Without you looking he turned and gave out a chuckle.
You saw how red your cheeks were so you ran the tap and sprinkled water onto them but then as you went over to get some tissue to wipe your
face you heard the door creak open.
"(y/n) how come you're in here" flirty as always Dan leans against the door.
"Oh...erm... i-i was just" trying to redeem yourself from not looking embarassed was quite a challenge.
Dan walked up to you and moved a piece of hair that was dangling by your face and placed it behind your ear.He then bent his head right by
your face and you thought that this was it.The moment you have been waiting for.He was going to kiss you.You held your breath.
"We need to be working.People will start coming in soon." he was the biggest tease you had ever known but it made you smile.He left and
grabbed your hand to come out with him but this was a step further than you thought you would ever get so you couldnt wait to see how work
was going to end tonight.
