The 2 days went by very fast. I basically slept the whole time. One minute I was dreaming of meeting Channing Tatum, the next minute I was on a plane with my best friend, leaving for California. Cali had always been my dream state. I had never gotten the chance to go there, until now. I had 3 months before I started college and I was so glad I got to spend it in Los Angeles.

Lilly tapped my shoulder. "When do you think the flight attendant will come around with the drinks? I'm thirsty!"

"Oh yeah, you're thirsty alright!!" I replied with a laugh.

"Shut up!!" She said back to me.

A few minutes later the flight attendant comes around with drinks and some snacks. Lilly got a diet coke with cookies, and I got an ice water with peanuts. Lilly doesn't care about her health much, but I do. I don't drink any soda, and the only caffeine I will have is from coffee.

"So are you going to meet any boys this summer or are you going to be a conservative freak like you usually are?" Lilly questioned me with a slight attitude.

"I am NOT a conservative freak. I will have you know, I lost my virginity in 11th grade." I replied.

"Yeah, to a boy you had been dating since the eighth grade! And you went all crazy afterwards with the pill, and constant pregnancy tests. You never just have fun with a guy."

I started to feel ashamed. Lilly was right. I am a conservative freak. But I guess that wasn't a bad thing right?
"Well to answer your question, no, I'm not going to try to pull boys. I don't need a boy in my life right now, especially now that I got into Stanford. I have so much more I could be focusing on than boys. And I'm happy without a man in my life." I had told her.

Lilly just rolled her eyes, because she knew I didn't know what I was talking about, and that deep down inside, I wanted a man. More than anything. I was just too afraid to admit it to myself.

We hopped off the plane and grabbed our luggage at the baggage claim. I couldn't believe that we were finally in Cali. We rented a car that we could use for the whole summer. Lilly really wanted to get the Infiniti convertible but I told her that it was way too expensive.

We drove our rental car to our condo that we rented for the summer. it was right on the beach, and had a beautiful view. As soon as we unpacked all of our clothes Lilly put her bathing suit on and headed out to the beach to look for hot guys. she had asked me if I wanted to come too, but I obviously refused. I decided to lay back on the couch and read a book.

The next thing I knew, I had woken up with a book on my face, at 11:30 pm. I had fallen asleep while reading a book. The house seemed normal for a moment, until I heard moaning coming from Lilly's bedroom. I listened closely, until I realized what was happening. Lilly was having sex with some guy. it was a good thing we had our own bedrooms.

I got completely grossed out, and decided I had to leave. I grabbed my purse, threw my hair up into a messy bun, and headed out to take a walk on the beach. Of course, I looked like complete crap. my makeup was smeared, so I looked like a raccoon, my under eye circles were huge because I was so tired, and I was wearing a plain baggy t shirt with sweatpants.

I wasn't sure how long I was going to have to walk around until Lilly finally fell asleep with her guy. I decided on 11:30. I assumed Lilly had already been having sex around 30 minutes before I woke up, so 11;30 seemed about right.

I jut kept walking along the beach, dragging my feet along the sand. I had a strange feeling that someone was watching me. There wasn't a single person on the beach that I had noticed, but something just didn't feel right. I didn't look behind me, because I knew I would just get more paranoid. I couldn't wait until 11;30 so I could finally start walking back to the condo.

I look down at the sand, and I jerk my head up when I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around, as I see a tall, muscular guy, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was the most attractive person I had seen in probably my whole life. He had a nice defined jaw line, and to top it off, he had dimples. And I knew this because he had smiled at me, as he said "Hey, I've never seen you around here before. My name is Aaron."
