Parker P.O.V.

"Parker! Emmett! Guess what!" Mr. Jones calls from down stairs.

I look up from the video game and at Emmett. Oh great...

"Shouldn't you answer him?" I ask giving him a smirk.

"Nah, its probably something stupid anyway like, how wonderful the fights are going to be tonight and how we should come and watch." Emmett says, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

Mr. Jones's Footsteps echo though the halls as they get closer. I look at Emmett's game room door as it flies open revealing a VERY happy Mr. Jones. Now, let me tell you something about Mr. Jones. He has dirty blonde hair just like his children and dull green eyes but you could always tell if he was happy or not.

"Why so happy Mr. Jones? Did that little chihuahua across the street finally lose its voice?" I ask silently hopping to myself I was right. Lets just say that dog rarely shuts up and when it does, everyone in a two mile radius saviors that little moment of peace and quiet.

"I'm glad you asked Parker, the reason I'm so happy is because my wonderful wife is finally coming home after her oh so long trip!" He practically yells at Emmett. Emmett looks up at his dad.

"She's coming home? When? Did she say she was bringing me something back from Washington?" Emmett asks bouncing up and down with excitement. He looked ridiculous! Mr. Jones and I grab our stomachs as we laugh at him.

"Oh-my-gosh! You look-haha-and sound-haha-like a nine year old right now." I say in between laughs. He stops jumping just to act more like a nine year old and stick his tongue out at me. I shake my head at my best friend and look at his dad .

"She's coming back in a week, " He points to Emmett. "and I haven't heard about any souvenirs for you, but she's definitely bringing something back from Washington." He mumbles the last part. My eyebrows furrow in confusion. I lean in towards Mr. Jones and look at Emmett.

"What do you mean, She's definitely bringing something back?" Emmett questions. Mr. Jones give a nervous laugh and rubs the back of his neck.

"Well.." He trails off, looking at anything but us.

"Dad..?"

"She's bringing home a person." He says sighing like dead weight had been lifted off his shoulders then smiles. He was acting way to nervous, I mean he owns a boxing ring for crying out loud! You'd think he'd be a lot tougher but he's really not. What he said finally caught up with Emmett.

"Why would she bring home a person?! She works for witness protection unit! What makes her think they would be safer here?" He says, throwing his arms up.

"Don't be mad, Emmett. They just need to keep that person on the down low and your mom says that she is the only person that they would talk to. They needed to move the person fast and somewhere that whoever is looking for them would never look and where they could blend in." Mr. Jones says.

"Wait. Is it a boy or a girl, and where is that person going to stay? You guys only have one room that's fixed and I'm staying there." I say, words starting to fill with dread. The reason for that is because my parents decided to go on a trip last minute and left me with my aunt who, lets just say is not the most appealing women. Her short burnt blonde hair and the smell of cigarette smoke were the first things you notice when you see her. She was nice enough but I could never stay in a room more than 30 minutes with out feeling my last meal beg to come up. That's why I'm staying with Emmett.

"I don't know if its a girl or a boy, but calm down. I've actually known about the possibility of Tami bringing the person home for quite some time but I didn't know for sure so she told me to do some work on the old music room that we never use. Whoever is staying with us is going to be in that room and Tami also asked me to make some changes to that room so I'm going to need your help this evening." He says as I let out a sigh I didn't know I was holding.

'What type of changes?" Emmett asks.

"Well, for starters Tami want to make the room sound proof and add additional locks to the window from the inside. Also she wants me to put in and I quote "a secluded area in which the boys and Jessie don't know about" so obviously you can't help me with that but you can help me with the other stuff." I give Emmett a confused look and he just shrugs. Now why would they need a secluded area? And why couldn't we know about it? Especially Jessie, who is Emmett's 10 year old sister, I mean, she is one of the most sweetest little girls I've ever met, she's like a sister to me.

"Yeah, I guess we could help." I say to Mr. Jones as he starts to leave the room. He turns around and smiles.

"Thanks boys, now come on. We have a room to finish." He says, waving his hand for us to follow him.

We walked down the hall and opened the door to the old music room and looked around. The room was painted a maroon color and had thick white curtains hanging from the three windows along the far wall. In the left side of the room, there was a sound booth with sound proof walls surrounding it. The sound booth had a mic inside the little room and a dash board with a bunch of dials, switches and nobs covering it. A thin blanket of dust lay everywhere. In the right side of the room there was a bed and a couple feet beside was a large walk in closet. There was also furniture like bookshelves, dressers, coffee tables, and a night stand scattered around the room.

"Dude, why haven't we ever been in here? This place is so cool!" I say, shoving Emmett's shoulder. He just shrugs.

"I don't know, I guess I never really came in here." He said in awe.

"You sure I can't just take this room and let the person have the one I'm staying in?" I joke.

Mr. Jones laughs and says, "Of course not! This room was asked by my wife and she scares me way too much to disobey her."

"You, scared! That's impossible!" Emmett and I grin.

"You boys will understand when your married, and you'll understand even more if your wife can take down probably all of the men that train at my gym." He says with a grin. He turns to us and claps his hands. "So who is ready for some work?"

We both groan as he give us both jobs. It takes us half of the week to clean and fix everything even after Jessie asks to help, then Emmett Jessie and I are shoved out of the room for Mr. Jones to finish the secluded area we weren't aloud to know.

Three more days.

Three more days until they're here.

Just three more measly days.
