Chapter 4

" I know it's a bit early but we have a mission and you will be on it with us. We are short on man power since Masaoka is in the infirmary for the time being." Detective Ginoza says looking at me coldly. Yeah it's my fault he's in the hospital since i was the one who shot him, but he doesn't have to be a douche about it and remind me. It's not like I could forget that since it only did happen yesterday. I roll my eyes running my hand through my hair.

Ah, why did I join this damned Bureaus? What will Gu-sung think? Damn I was supposed to meet up with him later today.

"Kurokawa! Are you even listening to me?" Ginoza says disaprovingly. Like he was a teacher scowling his student. He even addressed me by my last name...

"Yes sir." I say sighing. I wasn't really listening. All I heard was that we had a mission, and that I was joining.

"Go sit in Masaoka's seat. I'll get you a desk placed for you some time later this week. I'm placing you under Akane Tsunemori. Don't cause any trouble for her. I will not hesitate to remove you." I scowl turning away from him. I will possibly never learn how to get along with him.

The question remains in my head. Why did I join? Freedom? No. I can't even leave the building by myself. I would need a division inspector with me to do so. I wouldn't even be much help on a case. If all I do is raise peoples crime coefficient just by standing by them any crazy person who could be helped will become even more cray and be killed. Maybe I should just back out.

"Tch." I plop down in the chair propping my feet up on the desk leaning back in the chair closing my eyes. I'll just see how things work out.
