Regulus' POV

I never knew when I had become so possessive over her, it just happened.

It wasn't when she would follow myself and my brother around when we would terrorise the families. It wasn't when we had began our first year at Hogwarts together and I had seen her on that stool being sorted in our house. It wasn't when we started squabbling and insulting each other. It wasn't even when I had took her over that desk after my argument with Sirius.

It just grew and grew until it festered inside of me like a terrible disease. I just felt like she had always been mine.

We were quite literally made for each other, thanks to our parents. The moment I had found out about my mothers and hers had planned us to be together, it knocked me sick. How could I ever love someone that frustrating.

And although I did hate her with ever bone in my body, she was mine.

She was mine to torment, mine to insult, mine to glare at, mine to fuck.

I knew every single moment that made me hate her the most. It was when she would argue with anyone other than me, the way she would be stuck to Sirius' hip as children, when my friends would gloat about receiving her affection, whenever she smiled at someone who wasn't me.

I tried to push her away more than once, the only time I had ever denied my parents wishes was when they tried to convince me to marry her, avoid her at all costs but I could never get her out of my head. She was an infection that was rapidly spreading and there wasn't a cure, unless I had her all to myself for good.

That's why I took her virginity, that's why I had finally decided to marry her and grant my parents their wish that they had since the day I formed in my mothers womb. She would finally be mine.

I knew I'd get what I wanted, I was the Black heir after all. Even if it was against her wishes, she didn't have much of a choice now. Her family would be shamed, she has no other option for a respectable suitor now.

I hadn't planned it, I wasn't that malicious, but the moment I let her spend the night with me I knew I had to make sure that no one else would ever have her. I had to use it to my advantage.

But it was killing me, a whole month since my cousins wedding had passed. The only time I was able to be near her was in class and even then she tried to avoid me as best she could.

I had tried to make digs at her, rile her up in any way that I could have for even just one rude remark to escape her mouth, but nothing. She didn't seem fazed, she didn't let her expression deceive her at any chance, she was now a ghost of a person to me.

It had taken about a week until my parents had heard from hers. She had been granted the time to stay at home by the headmaster and at the end of it we had received a letter from the Malfoy's. She had agreed to marry me.

But I knew she hadn't, I can imagine it took a lot of bickering between the parents and their daughter before she had finally given in. They couldn't force her to marry me so it had to be her decision at the end of it for them to be able to send that letter. They must have spent that entire week going over everything she had done to ruin her reputation and convince her that I was the only option she had left. I had no doubt they had taken a page from my parents book and threatened to disown her.

And now she was torturing me, but now how I liked.

My friends were just as gobsmacked as anyone else, wondering how I had even gotten her to bed in the first place. That I didn't even have the answer to. I was confused myself, she had given herself to me so easily. But that one little taste had me itching for another fix.
