💖AU: Chrono (Time— Farewell to Curtain Call event gacha) I can't directly explain what's happening to each person but uhh WxS are against Niigo (other time skilled dwellers) and Rui got attack by Mafuuyu who is the strongest out of all of them. And this happened.

"Rui! Rui!" Those were the only words he heard, the sound of hastened footsteps followed after. "Please! Are you there? Please..." Someone placed their hand on the back of Rui's head and lifted it up gently.

"I... I.. Please.. Don't leave me here!.." Rui understood what was going on, it could only be Tsukasa who was begging for him to be alive. Tsukasa warned him of Mafuyu being behind him. When he wanted to slow her down using time, it didn't work. She straight up slashed his abdomen and a crimson mess on the reflective floor.

"Rui... r..ui..."

I have to get up, for him. Rui's eyelids fluttered open and was greeted with a sight of Tsukasa on the verge of tears.

"R—rui!... I.. I.." Tears rolled down his cheeks, having reached the breaking point."I thought I lost you!—" Rui felt like he was punched in his gut. The physical pain was gone and was replaced with a spinning, but weird feel. His stomach was now filled with guilt.

"Sh...sh... It's okay." Rui cooed, "Just bandage my injury, if you speed up time in this area, I should be fine."

The blond nodded instantly and pulled out his pocketwatch and began adjusting the time. 2am. Two hours after the current time.

Sure enough, the bandage was soaked into maroon and his injury no longer felt painful. Tsukasa's tears had also dried up.

"A..haha!" Rui giggled a bit. "Thanks Tsukasa-kun. I knew I could always rely on you!"

Tsukasa nodded his head before pressing the dial on the watch, pausing time, before checking on Rui again. He was afraid that his partner was still in agony but refused to tell him.

"Tsukasa-kun, I've told you already, I'm fine. You can resume time now." Tsukasa had paused time in a wide area— only his clan (Show-Chrono) could go against it. Now they had some time to be by themselves. They both knew they couldn't be in a time frozen zone for too long or else something bad will happen (according to Tsukasa who had gone past frozen time limit before).

But for Rui, it was special. Tsukasa would never minded much. He was fine with pausing time just for him, he was fine with giving up his own for him. He would sacrifice himself to Niigo to ressurect him if it came of necessary.

Rui never noticed his love, but even so, Tsukasa was glaf knowing that Rui is alive and well. If Rui is happy, he is happy.

"Rui... I'm sorry.. I don't feel safe.." Tsukasa turned away, avoiding eye contact. "You feel so... gh... dead.." Tsukasa felt horrible, he wanted to run away at that point.

"Do I, now?" Rui questioned, tilting his head a bit in attempt to look at Tsukasa's expression. "It is possibily from blood lost, I must say."

"But," Tsukasa subconciously caressed Rui's face, "I don't see the spark in your eyes anymore.." Tsukasa's face nose turned more visibly red and tears made his eyes glisten under the glass chapel—Hollow, like his mind at that moment, only concerned about Rui. Ah, he was starting to tear up again.
