    I was in the bus going back to my hostel after a very stressful day at school,am very proud to say I was a student of the biggest and best university in the country and that came with a lot of stress too.Mainland University was just too big,Mainland as a city was far different from Ayepe where I came from.
     As soon as I got to my room I went straight to the kitchen after eating I decided to call Lola
"Hello"
"Hello city girl" I just laughed "is it a lie? you are now one of the city girls now"
"I hear you Lola,how is everybody "
"We thank God,guess what?" I rolled my eyes like why won't Lola go straight to the gist
"What,cause I can't start guessing"
"Labake is pregnant"
"Really,her mom and the Chief  must be so happy right now"My roommate came in,she waved to me and I smiled,we were not really close we just live together.
"You think? the Chief's son said he has never slept with Labake"
"Ehn..."
"Yes ,he said he was waiting till their marriage night,see Wumi everything have scatter" I couldn't help but laugh I wish I could see iya labake right now.
"What is going to happen now,did she say who the father of the baby was"
" Labake doesn't know who the father is"she said laughing
" this is real news"
"Abi now,see call me later have not fetched water and mama will be back soon"
"Alright now,take care ehn"
"I will"
I felt so lonely after ending the call with Lola,I was now so familiar with the feeling of loneliness here.
"Wumi will you go to Fresher's Night?"Regina my Roommate asked while brushing one of her wigs
"Hmmm i don't know" going out in the night for parties was not really my thing,but I was lonely
"I guess if you go I will go"
" alright I didn't want to go alone too that is why I asked you, but I was not really sure you will go"
" why?"
"You know,you got all the whole good girl thing going on"it took me some time to reply,cause deep down I knew it was true
"You are correct though,but I want to go" she looked at me,like real looking now"what is it now,cause this your look ehn"
"Why?"  She asked.
I was confused here.
"why do you want to party tonight,you are someone that will pick vigil over a noisy environment filled with drunk students"
"To tell you the truth Regina I feel empty,like am so lonely,and you asked so..."she smiled
"Alright babes,do you even have a party outfit?"she said eying me from head to toe
I just laughed.

"Who told me to come here "I said to myself. This place filled with loud music,dancing,alcohol and smoking like real big time smoking,this was not my scene at all...Regina was having a nice time with her boyfriend Ray,she tried to baby me but I didn't want to spoil her night,right now am outside siting on a concrete and waiting for her call.
"This place must be so boring for you too" I turned around to see one good looking guy,like real good looking,like soooo handsome,so this is what they call Yoruba demon minus the Yoruba, I don't even know if he is a Yoruba guy.
"Yes..."i said looking at my fingers now,Kai just  kill me,in front of a fine guy am looking at my finger he will think am naive.
"Would you mind sharing your water?,am so thirsty" I gave it to him too quickly and he just smiled....am thinking he knows he has a real effect on me "thanks....em..."
"Wumi"I just smiled
"Wumi"He mentioned my name, like God it sounded so beautiful....butterflies "I like your name"
"Thanks...."
"Eric"he smiled...okay no one this handsome is allowed to have dimples "so you don't look like a party type,what are you doing here"he drank out of my water,like my water.
"Let just say I thought I would meet new people,and maybe have some fun"like how the fuck is my voice coming out smooth.
He smiled"I get right,but not a complete failure I guess...cause here I am"we both laughed
"Yes...you are here"
"So why sit outside,didn't you think it is dangerous"oh my God I didn't even think of that,he could be a serial killer or a rapist Jesus!
"okay judging from your facial expression you didn't think that far,and no am not here to harm you" he smiled .
Relief like a river but still I got to stay alert
"They don't write it on the forehead you know"he just smiled .
My phone started ringing,it was Regina asking me where I was,I told her and she said she will come meet me so we can go home.
"So I take that you are going home already"he said after I cut the call.
"Yes..."
"Alright,see you around and I promise to repay you for the bottle water"he smiled at me with all the dimple magic going on.
"If you say so,bye"
"Bye cutie"and he was gone leaving the cutie bomb gosh who was that guy.
"Hmmm,if you done with whatever you are doing let go" I turned around to see Regina and Ray.
"Oh yes" I turned around to look at the direction Eric went.
"Hmm girlie,you got it bad...give me  full gist when we get to the hostel ehn"she said smirking
I just rolled my eye.
In a day I had formed a bond with Regina than I have in 6 weeks that we are been roommates,and also just in a day I have a massive crush on a guy who called me cutie and smiles like an angel looking like a Greek god in Yoruba clothing...and he didn't ask for my number.
