Well... school orientation went by fast and now we are being announced our classrooms and home teacher. I was hoping i get to be in the same class as Gina or anyone i know. There are gonna be 4 classes, 2 for social studies major and 2 for math and science major. I'm in the social studies major. Well... i think i could be in both majors because i actually like biology and chemistry, but i just can't handle math and physics. Like... why would you keep looking for x when you should move on ( see what i did there ).
Anyways, the first class of social studies is being announced. And I hear familiar names and also new names I've never heard of. " Myron Steven...Naveah Eleanor...Nadya Alisha...Nyssa Micaiah....... " I heard my name being called and I step forward to get my schedule. I was looking at my schedule and notice that there are new subjects I've never studied before like Japanese. And... to my luck, we have math on Monday....and it's the first subject of the day....great what a way to start your day and week😒. After looking at my schedule, I went to Gina. " OMG Gina we're in the same class!!! I'm so glad. BTW I didn't know you choose social studies?! " " Me too... honestly I'm not that close with anyone either. Well... yeah.... science and math is just not my thing. Though I can't say the same about you." " You were literally the one that got the highest score in science in our finals exam??!! " She said Shocked and half shouting. I just scratch my nape and laugh awkwardly. " Yeah... but I still can't stand math. Especially if I'm gonna have math almost everyday!! " So yeah I did get the highest score in science in our finals exam. But that was because the subjects were combined and apparently there were more biology questions wich I love. Soo I just think I got lucky. I did consider in going in math and science, but... I still despise math and numbers. Even if in social studies there's economics where we will study accounting, it's just different. And I got to know that Mark is in math and science though his sister is in social studies. And... not a surprise, Peter is In math and science too. Well... he is very smart, that is actually one of the reasons why I like him. And turn out Mark and Peter are classmates. Interesting..... . . . .
The next day was our first official school day. I arrived pretty late so I didn't really get to choose my seat, so I just sat in the front, because people tend to avoid the front seats because... well.... obvious reasons. I sat on my seat and looked around. There was no one I knew and I felt quite anxious. I texted Gina to see when will see come.

I can't believe her! Guess I'm on my own for now. I hope I can at least talk to someone and not be to awkward. Well I do see some of my group mates from orientation. Maybe I'll talk to them. COME ON NADYA YOU CAN DO IT! YOUR ALREADY IN HIGHSCHOOL, GOTTA GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE ! . . . . The bell rang indicating that school is starting. I'm in my class waiting for the teacher to arrive. Our homeroom teacher was Mrs. Lily, she's also our sociology teacher. Mrs. Lily came and introduced herself and talk about the rules of this school ( wich I didn't really listen nor do I really care ), and ask us to introduce ourself one at a time in front of the class. Usually the teachers pick from the front or back row to go first. And unfortunately for me...I'm in the very front row🥲. But I'm in the middle not at the edge, so there's one two students before me.
