#04 一 caught

"so khya-chan doesn't really remember me?"

"im sorry, i really dont" i replied. he sighed and sit at the chair. "haruchiyo. just that"

"oh.. sure, so.. what could i get for you?" i asked. "i dont know what rindo ordered but the same as him" he answered. "okay, please wait for your order" i said and walk back to the counter.

i write two cappuccinos at my note and pin it at the top drawer. i make the coffee while humming. i continue to do my thing but suddenly heard them talking and i can't help but listen.

"ran would love to visit this" haruchiyo said and chuckle. rin sighed and look at him "ran doesn't like coffee shops. he wouldn't love to but would try to go here"

"oh? so he will still go here. still the same huh? because of khya.. he-.. k"

i couldn't hear much because they start whispering to each other. once i finished making it i gently put it on the counter before delivering it to their table. after i got to them they both look at me. "w-what?"

they shrugged it and just take the cappuccino. i tilt my head in confusion before walking back to the counter. i look at rina and she's giggling at me. "what is it?" i asked her

"nothing.. just heard everything" she said and chuckle. "oh.. really?"

"ye- oh welco..me.." rina stopped midway of her words and look at the entrance. i look at the door and saw a unexpected person.

"welcome... ran"

"oh? no formalities? well.. isn't this shop too friendly.." he said. he look at rin and haruchiyo "i finally saw you guys. mikey wants me to find you two" he said calmly as he approached the two.

i look at rina and she's looking at me and smiling a bit wider than normal. i sigh as i get what she's thinking.

i look at the three and a sudden thought comes at me. 'so they're still friends.. i just didn't expect haruchiyo to be like that... he glow up too much..' i look away and stare at the counter.

i notice a shoes in front of the counter and look up. i saw ran and he's looking at me "here" he said and put some money on the counter. "take it.. i dont know how much that is and the price of the coffee they bought so take it" he said and goes back to the two.

i look at the money and count it. its ¥2300 and the cappuccino is ¥400. im about to give it back but once i look at them they're gone already. i sigh and give it to rina. "here.. take it"

"huh? ran gave that to you.. not for me" she said and give it back. "and also! do you want to know what i heard?" she added. i look at her and nod.

"the pink hair said that ran would love to go here once he knew you work here and that if he goes here once and finally saw you he will go here everyday just to see you" she said excitedly. i look at her and face-palm.

"i already plan to avoid him.." i sigh. "why? he doesn't seem like a bad guy.. well he's a bit intimidating but i remember how he's gentle with you! i remember what happened at the bar and how he's careful with you!"

"he's what?"

"im guessing he still like you.. so give him a chance at least?"

i sigh and stare at her.

"he doesn't like me anymore. he's the one who broke up with me. he ended our relationship. he doesn't love me anymore. so please stop saying that." i told her.

"but.. rindo said he still loves you"

i look at him confused. "what do you mean? maybe he's just joking around"

"he doesn't.. he's so serious about it. he also said that ran would do anything to get you back"

"he's joking.. he doesn't mean it"

"yes he does. the pink hair guy also said ran is planning to court you again but he knows you're avoiding him after that night"

"court me? unbelievable.. he didn't do that to me.. so rare"

"he's really willing to do anything so give him a chance!" she said. i face-palm and sigh again. "if he does then he will come back and at least tell me he will do whatever you're saying"

i look at her and suddenly the door opens and rina welcome them. i look at the person and face-palm again.

"khya.." ran spoke. he walks close to the counter and look at me. "i heard you.. actually we didn't left. so i came back.. and you wanted me to prove it?"

my eyes widen as the thought of him eavesdropping and hearing my words. "then?" i asked. "so i will prove it to you"

"and?"

"i need you to.. not avoid me. that's all and after that i will do anything to bring us back together" he said. "what?"

he suddenly hold my hands and i try to get it back but he hold it too tight that i can't get it off of him. "can we.. get back to each other?"

i look at him and suddenly hearing haruchiyo chuckling with rindo while whispering to each other. "your brother got soft when it comes to khya-chan huh? i finally had something to annoy him" haruchiyo laughs.

i sigh and look down at his hand. "i dont know, ran" i said. "then i will let you know.. and help you know"

"i.. dont know what to say to you, ran. that's what i meant. i dont know what to answer you"

"then.. just let me court you and i will do my best to make sure that you know what you'll answer to me. i want your full permission to let me court you everyday" he said and start moving his thumb to caress my hand.

i look up at him. i think for a moment before answering him. "alright.."
