I woke up entangled in Glenn's arms, nightmare free. I gently got out of the bed, careful not to wake him up. His jet black hair was fluffier than usual, and stuck up in the front. He looked peaceful. I slipped aside the sheet covering the door and stepped outside. The common room was light, but I could still see the moon in the corner of a barred window. I turned to my room to see Daryl sitting at a table and staring at me.
"What?" I asked, my voice sounded hoarse and more aggressive than I meant.
"I was 'bout to ask you the same thing kiddo." He raised his eyebrows before gesturing to the chair across from him. "Come an' sit Kendall." I breathed deeply before walking to the seat. I don't know why, but Daryl has always made me feel uneasy. I had no reason to not like this man, in fact, I probably owed him for saving my life on numerous occasions. I pulled my hair down from my ponytail and let it fall over my shoulders. My hair wasn't that much longer than my shoulders, maybe two inches more at most. I brushed the caramel colored strands over my shoulder and looked at him.
"So you and Glenn?" He asked. I laughed a bit before saying, "What about us?" I'm confused, does he have a problem with it? We just started to date last night, and we hadn't told anyone yet either. "I just want you to know that with all this shit goin' on, getting pregnant isn't the best idea, so-" I cut him off with an eyebrow raise. He was acting like my father, which I was thankful for, but I needed to straighten this out. "Daryl, Glenn and I didn't have sex in the watch tower yesterday." He blushed. I've never actually seen him look embarrassed before, ever. He quickly looked at Glenn's cell and back at me. He coughed and said, "Well, erm, just be careful then." He stood up, slinging his crossbow over his back and quickly exited the room. I heard a laugh behind me as Glenn came out of his cell.
"Good morning beautiful." He replaced Daryl in the seat before setting his elbows on the table and propping his head up in his hands. I reached out and ruffled his hair up. We began talking about today, and what needed to be done around the camp. We talked about us, and he didn't ask about my nightmare. I continued to play with his hair as he told me what Daryl told him. "He said that he didn't want me to end up like Rick, when Lori died. He said this camp is in no ways prepared for another baby." He looked up and smiled at me. "But that won't be a problem." His smile grew as we stood up to go walk. I heard the walkers before I saw them. As we reached the yard, we saw that the outside fence was lined with more walkers then usual.
Glenn squeezed my hand. "I think we need to get rid of those." He laughed and looked into my eyes. I wished he would have kissed me, but he sighed and guided me back to the common room. We walked around the living areas and quickly checked on the others. Daryl wasn't anywhere, but neither was his motorcycle, so he must have ridden into town. Carl, Rick's son, sat on the floor with Judith, playing peekaboo with her. Then, we were back to Glenn's cell.
"Wait here." Glenn said as he pulled back the sheet to enter. I heard him stuff a few things in his bag before he reappeared once again. "Ready?" He said as he handed me a knife.
"As I'll ever be." I giggled as he playfully bumped into me as he passed. "Hey!" I turned to follow him.
At the fence, we began picking off the walkers, one by one, plunging our knifes into their decomposing skulls. The walkers' rotting hands pushed through the fence, cutting their arms, but they didn't care. I looked to Glenn, who just pulled his knife out of a walkers' forehead. "This is ridiculous!" I said, looking back and stabbing another. Blood spattered against my shirt. I could see him nod out of the corner of my eye. "Yeah!" He yelled. The groans from the walkers drowning him out. I could hear Daryl's motorcycle. We ran to the gate, opened it, and Daryl drove through. He hopped off his bike with a knife already drawn. "I got this, y'all go do somethin' else." He didn't wait for our answer before jogging to the fence. "Thanks!" Glenn shouted at him. Daryl turned quickly before smiling at us. "That's weird." I whispered in Glenn's ear. I turned and skipped away, turning around and smiling at him. He began to jog after me, but I ran and turned a corner to get to the commons. I opened the door and slipped inside. I held the door shut, and I could hear Glenn mutter "shit." under his breath. I knocked back on the door. "I can hear you mister! There are children here!" I said, as flirtatiously as I could. I turned to Carl and Judith, who were still sitting on the floor. I then let go of the door, and Glenn walked inside. I looked at him, and he tried to kiss my forehead, but I walked towards the caged balcony on the other side of the prison. "Kendall?" He called my name as he finally reached me. "Glenn?" I grinned at him. He set his bag against the door as I shut it behind him and wrapped my arms around him tightly. We sat on the floor and leaned against the wall, looking through the fencing at the forest. "This is beautiful." I sighed, looking at him. I stood back up. "Not as beautiful as you." Glenn laughed, I could feel his breath against my neck as I realized he stood up too. He put his arms around my waist and planted a kiss on my cheek. I pressed my lips against his as he pushed me up against the wall. "Glenn," I breathed between kisses. His hands slipped beneath my shirt as he ran his hands up and down my sides. His calloused hands were rough, but Glenn was not. I wanted him more then ever. But Daryl's words echoed through my mind. "You know we can't do this." I loved him so much, but this world is not safe. He shushed me with his lips as he kicked his bag closer before leaning down to look in it. He pulled out a box. "We can." He looked at me, and I nodded. He opened the box and handed me a condom. I laughed as he pulled off his shirt. "Where- when did you get these?" I slipped off my shorts as he answered. "In the very beginning, before I met you, I thought ahead." He laughed as he took my shirt off too. I stood in front of him in just my underwear. This was going to be the first time he's seen me naked. He looked at me as he unhooked my bra. "You are so beautiful." I tried to say thank you but he already kissed me. I pushed up against the door and quickly locked it. "I love you so much." He whispered into my neck. I looked into his eyes once more. I pulled him close, closer than ever before. "I love you too."Author's Note: Sorry but I just didn't feel comfortable writing anymore. I hope you can understand! Close (a Glenn Rhee Fan Fiction)
FanfictionJust a quick little story (probably 3 parts) about Kendall (Original Character) and Glenn Rhee. This is a walking dead fanfic, so there's some blood, guts, descriptive (curse) words, and maybe (100% not sure) maybe a bit of sexual stuff going on. (...
