We haven't spoken in week.

And i don't know why i'm so upset. It's not like he gave me any reason to like him, for fucks sake he's almost killed me twice. But a part of me feels for him. He's a broken shell of a man.

His father was an abusive and psychotic alcoholic. Soap told me one time his dad killed a prostitute right in-front of Ghost and made him watch. And that was first of many horrific stories, at some point he just became numb to death. Death and killing were like a second nature to him. He joined the military and became who he is today, one of the most feared men on earth.

Men run away when they see his mask or hear his name. He's like the boogeyman for bad guys. They literally shit their pants when they see him, because they know he's going to be the last thing they'll see before they're dead.

You know how superheroes wear masks to hide their identity? I don't think he wants to hide his face per se, but i think that the mask gives him power.

I don't think he's a bad man, just a troubled one with a conflicted heart.

"We're leaving at 1700 (5 pm) y/n." i heard Soap yell from above me. Our base was on a hill, and there's a beautiful lake right at the bottom, i've been coming here to think everyday.

"Okay soap. I'll be there in a minute." i shouted back.

Ghost hasn't even acknowledged my existence. Not once. It's like i'm a ghost. Which is ironic. We're still in Mexico, Hassan has a deal with the cartel so he's still here somewhere. We've hit every base and still haven't found him, but the last one is today. And we've been tipped off that he could be there. I make my way up the hill and wait for Captain Price's orders, it's only me and Soap in the room,

"This is our last stop, so let's make it worth it. There is a small city north of Merida, we think he could be hiding in one of the villas. There will be men camping out in the front so we need a distraction, y/n, that's when you come in." oh dear god. "There will be too many men guarding the front, we need a way in quietly, and we have the perfect weapon." Price finishes.

"I'm the perfect weapon? Excuse my language, but what the fuck do you expect from me?" I asked walking up to him.

He chuckle's nervously and looked at Soap, "You're a beautiful women, and that's something men cannot resist." Price continues, "We had clothes and such brought here. You'll be given a .50 GS just in case things go south, once i tell you it's clear, leave and walk towards the back." he finished and walked out of the debriefing room.

I give a Soap a 'what the fuck?' look because, what the fuck? They're using me as bait?

"You'll be fine, y/n. We've got you covered, this is the only way we'll be able to get inside quietly before they move Hassan again." Soap patted my back as if thats going to calm me down.

Im being thrown into a tank of sharks basically. I just hope whatever they're putting me in isn't ridiculous.

It's ridiculous.

They expect me to wear a long red gown, as if that isn't going to bring me MORE attention. I guess that's the plan. I slipped it on and fuck, i look hot. I had a thin girdle underneath the dress so i can hide my gun. I open the shoe box to the right of me...

No fucking shot they expect me to wear heels.

The things i do for this task force. They graciously also bought a curling iron, and makeup. I don't know who picked out all of these items but once i find out they're fucking dead.

I finished getting ready and went to the bathroom to see my costume. Yes, costume.

I look fucking good. I haven't dressed up like this in ages.. i feel pretty.

I made my way outside, the reactions i received were exactly what i was expecting. Stunned faces and mouths wide open, but i only cared about one. And i couldn't find him. I made my way towards the men, Alejandro was first to speak,

"Eres tan hermosa como las estrellas, mi amor"
(You're as beautiful as the stars, my love.)

I'm not sure what he said but it sounded beautiful coming out of his mouth, "I didn't understand any of that but thank you." I smiled at him, he's very kind. And sexy. So sexy.

"You look beautiful y/n." Soap gave me a side hug and a smile, i love this man.

"Thank you Johnny." I smiled back, and we all began walking towards the trucks. "Where's Ghost?" I asked Soap.

"He's finishing something inside, he'll be out soon. Let's go wait in the car."

"You know actually i'm going to go find him, i need to talk to him about something." I didn't wait for an answer and ran back inside, heels clicking and all.

He was in the debriefing room, back faced towards me, sketching something out, "Hi." was all i could muster.

"Do you need something Lieutenant." He didn't even bother to turn around.

"No i was just looking for you, we're loading up into the cars." I've never been nervous speaking to man, but this one's different.

"I'll be out in a minute. I need to finish something." He mumbled.

"Can i help?" i don't know what else to say.

"Yes you can, go wait outside with the rest."

"You can't give me orders, remember?" i teased, trying to make whatever tension is in the room thinner.

He sighed and turned to face me, "Go fuckin-" he stopped midway through. We stood there for what felt like an eternity of him taking in every part of me. From the hair on my head to my feet that were barely showing from underneath the dress. He looked like he was fucking me with his eyes.

"What the fuck are you wearing." he asked, more like demanded.

"Captain Price told me about the plan." i respond genuinely confused.

"What plan? I wasn't informed about this." He responded slowly walking towards me.

"He's using me as a distraction so you guys could get into the villa quietly, i thought you were aware."

"And Soap is alright with this?"

"It's for the mission, did we have a choice?" i responded looking down at my feet. He could tell i was uncomfortable doing this.

"This isn't going to happen. I'm going to speak to Price." he stormed past me but i caught his arm in time,

"Ghost, it's fine, I'm okay with it, let's just get it over with." I'm trying to calm him down, i've never seen him so worked up, and he's held a knife to my throat multiple times.

"I'll be waiting for you in the back of the house once we get to the villa, run to me once we know the men are inside." He mumbled, sounding somewhat concerned.

"You're not going in with them?" i looked up at him and asked.

"No. Go wait in the car." He demanded and walked back into the room. I found my way outside.
