You had sat quietly on one of the many spinning chairs, your Pokémon lying by your feet as your mind wandered once more. The men in white had continued their work outside, paying you little attention- which was probably for the best. Fordo, the leader of the vessel was outside, giving instructions. Although it would've been nice for him to sit and talk you through what was going on, you could tell that whatever project outside was of a greater importance. Good thing was, they'd probably all be leaving the planet. It's kind of funny actually. The idea of going into space would've once been an exciting, and amazing venture... and right now you couldn't show even a little enthusiasm. In your defense however, you couldn't exactly tell your friends about it... given that they had died.
KOIIIWP!
The door you had been facing opened, Fordo and the other 4 troopers walking into the ship.
"Ok, uh Ash. We'll be taking off in two seconds. You probably still have a lot of questions but where we are going will hopefully help answer at least some of them."
You nod your head.
"Wingman?" You heard the man yell towards the cockpit.
"Start us up! We're going home!"

The trip, for the most part was quiet. The only real audible noises coming from the tiny beeps emanating from the ship and the occasional hydraulic noise that made a loud thud every time the automated gun shot an incoming asteroid. You weren't sure whether the fact no one really said anything was a good or bad thing, but either which way, you and your two Pokémon just decided to sit silently. Despite Electrocuting them and holding them at gun point, the troopers paid you no attention, or almost no attention. Occasionally, you could see them sneaking a quick, almost sympathetic glance. You theorize that you and the rest of your trio weren't the first lot of people to be rescued from whatever monster you had faced, or at the very least that the men themselves had been told to keep an eye of for people. You decided to put a hold on that thought. There was something about the men in the ship. Something that you had just noticed. Maybe it was the gravity of the situation still warping your sense of reality, but you swore that all of the soldiers had the same face. They all looked identical, as if they we're... clones? This whole ordeal felt like a fever dream, and you had little doubt it would get any less abnormal as more and more time passed.

It had been several hours, or at least it felt like it. You had been nodding in and out of consciousness throughout the flight. You thought about trying to talk to your Pokémon but decided against it. They were both looking out of one of the windows, unmoving. The emptiness of space was almost calming in an odd sense. Although quite lonely, it somehow put you at ease. You quickly glanced at the troopers once more, all 4 of them having fallen asleep. Your eyes had not deceived you, they definitely all looked the same. Using your finger, you started to get rid of the sleep that was in the corner of your eye.
"Hey, kid..." One of the trooper's whispered, walking over to the chair beside you. You watch as he slowly takes a seat- trying not to wake up everyone else.
"It's a little overwhelming, isn't it?" He asks.
You nod your head.
"Your name is Ash, right? I think I heard the captain call you that."
"Yea, Ash Ketchum... Also, Pikachu and Chespin." You state, pointing to your two animal friends who had just laid down on the chair to your side.
"I'm CT-9996, but you can call me BP." The man stated.
