Chad's POV
2022
It's been five years since Justine passed away and Olivia was born.
We found out who had dosed JJ with Nexoplasma. It was her mother, Eline. Justine had been meeting with Eline to reconcile with her, but all Eline could do was hurt her. She was still upset that I had chosen Justine over her and everytime they would meet, she'd give Justine Nexoplasma filled food or drinks. It caused her to go into labor and then die from an allergic reaction/overdose from it. Eline was arrested on December 28, 2017 and sentenced to a life sentence by the province of Canada. She was extradited to the US to the state of Michigan on March 12, 2018, and is till serving that life sentence out. She won't be due for parole until December of 2027.
Daniel came back to the band in 2018, and we have never been closer as friends.
Daniel found himself a girl over in Germany while we were on tour for Feed the Machine, Heidi. Heidi is a redhead and very witty.
Regan is 16 now, and a senior in high school, she graduates in the spring of 2023. She's the spitting image of Rylah, but with my eyes. She has boyfriend now, Andy, and they're serious.
Melody is 11 years old now, and in seventh grade. She's playing basketball for her middle school and is very athletic.
Christina is 10 and a sixth grader now. She's on the math team for the school, as well as in the band.
David, Hayden, and Sam all turned 8 last month and are in fourth grade.
David likes to collect rocks and has quite the collection.
Hayden likes to play football, not two hand touch either, full on tackle. I think he'll be playing football in middle and high school.
Sam loves to read, just like Justine did. She adores Historical Fiction books and is currently reading Philippa Gregory's The Plantagenet and Tudor novels. She's just starting The Constant Princess.
Olivia is five, and in kindergarten. She resembles JJ in so many ways.
Anthony, Ryan and Rylah's son, is also 16, and a senior in high school. He is on the football team and baseball team. He is also salutatorian for his class.
Jackson, Ryan and Penelope's oldest son just turned ten last week. He's also in the band and watches out for Christina while their at school and when they aren't. I think he likes her more than a friend. He's in sixth grade as well.
Marie, Ryan and Penelope's daughter, is four. She just started kindergarten and is a little troublemaker like her daddy.
Embry, Ryan and Penelope's youngest child and son, is two. He's just learning how to pronounce his own name and I smile as I think about him.
Ryan and Penelope are holding strong even with a loss taking place when Nel's grandma passed back in July.
Patrick, Daniel and Rylah's son, is also 16 and a senior. He is on the History team as well as the Math team. He has a serious girlfriend in Saskatchewan named Eliza. I've met her twice and she's really sweet.
Kyle, Daniel's adopted son with Felix, is 12 and an eighth grader. He is playing football and does pretty good.
Saydee, Daniel's adopted daughter with Felix, is Melody's age and is in the band and choir.
Emerson, Daniel and Felix's son, is 9 and in fifth grade. He is the spitting image of Daniel.
Lukas, Daniel and Heidi's oldest son, is three, he is excited to start school in the fall of next year.
Joy, Daniel and Felix's expected daughter, is to be born December 22, 2022.
Daniel and Heidi are excited to welcome Joy into the world and Daniel got custody of Kyle, Saydee, and Emerson in May of 2019 when Felix went to prison.
Dawson, Mike's oldest son, turned 21 this year. He is going to Hawaii State for economics.
Opal, Mike's oldest daughter, is 18 this year and is starting college at Hawaii State for Dance.
William, Mike's youngest son, is 13 and an eighth grader, as Mike lives int he US, not Canada.
Leia, Mike's youngest, is 7 and started first grade. She is a bright little girl.
Mike and his wife, Amanda are holding strong with their four kids. They recently had their vows renewed as well for their 20th anniversary.
As for me, I've met another person, Talia, who loves me for who I am, not for my money. Just like JJ. She knows that JJ was my soulmate and doesn't press me for anything else.
Talia loves all of my children for who they are and encourages them to be themselves no matter what.
We got married on September 20, 2021. Talia found out she was pregnant back in May and we are welcoming our first child, a little boy, on February 15, 2023.
We have chosen the name Robert Christian.
While I miss JJ every single day with every best of my heart, I have a feeling she'd want me to move on and find love.
The guys and I released our first song off our new album, Get Rollin, which will be released on November 18, 2022, called San Quentin.
It's based upon the time I got put in jail twice when we first went to Mexico on tour for The Long Road back in 2004. I smile everytime I think about it.
I hope that someday I'll get to tell the kids about Justine and how she was my soulmate and encourage them to find theirs.
Alright guys That's the end! There won't be a sequel (sadly) to this one.
I hope you guys enjoyed this story as much as I enjoyed writing it!
I'm always sad to say goodbye to my OC's in my stories, but I think I gave Justine an awesome goodbye.
