Melody's POV
Abbotsford Primary school
2015
"Alright kiddos, let's introduce ourselves by saying our first and last names!" Mrs. Dawes says as she looks at our class of 12 preschoolers.
"I'm Amber Bradford, I'm four years old." A girl says and a boy stands up and does the same.
"I'm Melody Kroeger, I'm four. My daddy is in Nickelback." I say and sit back down as Mrs. Dawes gives us a strip of paper and a marker.
"Alright you guys, let's write out names on these and tomorrow when you come in, they'll be on your cubbies!" She says and I write my name out, putting my middle initial on it as well.
We play with blocks for alot of the day, and I meet this girl, Cierra Lawless, and we become fast friends.
Cierra and I are playing with Amber and Matti at the kitchen set when Mrs. Dawes says that we are going out to see our busses before going home on them.
We get outside and see this big yellow busses and Mrs. Dawes tells both Cierra and I that we are on bus 12-18! We cheer as we get on board and meet the bus driver, Mr. Jim.
Mr. Jim tells us not to go past seat 10 and we listen, taking seat 6 for ourselves. He writes out names on the piece of paper above the seat and I smile as we head home, the first day of school done.
