Shehry's POV:

While everyone waited for Dr. Saqib to come out and talk to tehm, I decided to go and talk to the senior doctor about Hussain's condition.

I walked into his exceptionally quiet room, while he had his head dug into a pile of files, as if looking for something.

"Doctor?", I knocked on the door.

"Aah Shehryaar, come in.", he said, advancing towards his table.

I pulled the chair and sat down in front of him.

"I'm here to talk about Hussain's condition.", I said.

"Hussain Asif!", he exclaimed, as he pulled up Hussain files from under his desk.

He flipped through a few pages, and then pulled out his glasses and plaved themo n his tbale.

"I'm sorry to say, but both of them are suffering from Retrograde Amnesia.", he said in a very calm, yet firm tone. He watched me as my eyes widened in shock.

"Retro- getorade –what?", I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. I was bad at scientific terms, in fact I wasn't into science which is why maybe such a simple name went over my head.

"Retro-grade-amnesia.", the doctor said again, but this time with a pause, just so that I could understand.

"What the hell is that?", I asked.

"It's a type of a memory loss. They do not remember anything that had happened before the accident.", he explained. "The crash impacted their skull so hard, that they sustained injuries to their brains."

I watched the doctor as he spoke. His grey hair, and his wrinkled face made it evident that he was experienced and knew what he was talking about.

But everything that he was saying was literally going over my head.

The only words that sort of stuck to my mind were, "Memory Loss."

"But make sure you don't let any kind of shock get to them. It will just worsen their condition more.", he added. "Moreover, as a doctor I will adivse you guys to keep them away from each other. Jab bhi un dono ko ek doosre ki yaad dilane ki koshish ki jaati hai, ya phir unhey ek dusre ki tasveer dikhayi jaati hai, something triggers in their brain. I don't think its safe for them to be near each other...at least till they recover."

**FLASHBACK**

"Hussain, I'm getting married in a one and a half month.", I said slowly pushing him away. His lips were just an inch away from my lips.

"Sorry. Who actually, movies mein aise time pe kiss hoti hai toh maine socha...", he said acting all innocent types and I grabbed a cushion from behind me back and threw it at him.

"Toh movies kam dekha karo!", I said raising myself up. I looked at my watch. "It's getting late I have to leave."

"Ruk jao na..", he grabbed my hand.

I nodded, "I can't." I grabbed my purse, and walked towards the door, but he grabbed my hand again.

He turned me over and pulled me towards him, making my crash into his muscular chest.

"Sain!", I said, shocked.

"I like it when you call me that.", he smiled. He brought his face closer to mine, and whispered, "Shaadi to teri mujh se hi hogi Basantiiii!"

Hussain and I had spent a lot of time with each other in the past few months, which brought us very close to each other. But when a few days back, my parents broke the news to me that I was going to be married off to my dad's friend's son who lived in UK, I was heart broken. I didn't have the courage to open upto them about Hussain. When I told Hussain about it, he at first accepted it as his destiny, but as we spent more time together, shopping for my wedding, we got even closer.

"Sain, dulha kal aa raha hai..", I reminded him, and he pulled back, as a crease appeared on his forehead.

"I know. I'll do something about it.", he said.

I smiled, hoping he would come up with something, and left.

The next day:

I heard a few laughs in my backyard, early in the morning, so I grabbed my dupatta and ran downstairs to see who it was.

To my surprise, Dad, and Hussain were having a chat, over breakfast!

"Baba..",I said, confused.

"Anee! Come here! Meet him. This is Hussain. He is from the Water&Electricity authority. He came here to check if our water and electricity is working fine.."

I looked at Hussain in surprsie and he winked at me.

"Come here Anee waha kyu khari ho?", Baba's tone changed. "You guys think I'm a fool, jo aisi bakwaas believe kar lunga?!", he said. His eyes fumed with anger.

"Sach batao yaha kyu aaye ho?", he demanded, staring into Hussain's eyes.

"I love Aneela, sir! And she loves me.", Hussain blurted out. He told the entire story of how we met and how he saved me from those goons, and how we had spent so much time together in the past few months.

By the end of it, Dad's fists were clenched in anger, and he gritted his teeth, as he raised his hand a slapped Hussain across his face.

"You!", he yelled pointing his finger at Hussain, "Get out of here!"
