~next day evening~

"thank you for picking me up from the mall"

"oh we were just on that way, don't worry" she said.

"what's that package outside your door?" taehyung asked jungkook as he got out of the car his mother was driving.

"ooh must be the 3D printer I ordered. Help me carry it in please"

Taehyung didn't even ask questions, his mother was less surprised this time but she understood how taehyung would do anything if jungkook was the one ordering it.

"I'll wait in the car" she said

Should I ask him on a date? Or just plainly tell him I like him?
Jungkook opened the door and went into his room to get a repaired BB for jimin as he asked for it, but taehyung put down the package on the side of the sofa and stood behind it.

Jungkook who didn't look down when walking tripped on the box and fell towards taehyung who was caught off guard. Taehyung fell backwards on the sofa and jungkook on top of him.

His one hand was on taehyung's shoulder and the right above his heart. With the sudden blood rush on his face, jungkook looked up towards taehyung who was surprised. Jungkook attempted to get up by placing his hand on the small sofa corner that was slightly visible but it slipped and he landed back on taehyung.

Jungkook became flustered and they both tried again and taehyung then made jungkook stay still and got up.

They spoke nothing as taehyung just pointed to the door and proceeded to leave. Jungkook didn't notice taehyung being slightly flustered

Jungkook stood inside and taehyung stood outside as they looked at each other again. "wait—" jungkook called out. Taehyung stood, calming his nerves.

"I would you go on like date you too?" jungkook mumbled out

"huh?" taehyung was lesser flustered questioned the incoherent sentence.

"no that's—" jungkook started again, "what— what I mean is, i—", he just wanted to get it out "I like you too"

Taehyung didn't process what he heard. He couldn't get what his ear brought to his head. "o— okay" he responded and walked towards the car his mother was in.

His mother was confused to see them looking like that, what happened?

"okay" jungkook also said and closed the door and walked inside

But both in them stopped in their steps and finally processed it.
Why am I walking to the car?
Why did I just close the door?

With that thought in mind, jungkook opened the door and taehyung rushed to the door and pushed jungkook in tightly hugging him.

"did you just tell me you like me too?"

"i did" jungkook said his cheeks burning. The number of their heartbeats were uncountable.

"really?"

"really."

"are you very sure about your feelings?"

"yeah" jungkook said, and taehyung tightly pressed his lips on him. He also swiftly closed the door and made jungkook lean on it as he didn't stop. Only giving him breaks to breathe, he kept making out till jungkook was unable to keep up. Taheyung carried him by holding under his thigh to the sofa, he laid him down before kissing him again.

"I can do this right?" taehyung asked about kissing him

"do you usually ask after you've done it?"

Taehyung shrugged and said "that's how I usually work." The dim light on their face made sure to show each other their smiles. The buzz of the air conditioner and the warm air was helping the atmosphere intensely.

"this is real right?"

"are you still not out of it?"

"I thought of all the ways you would tell me you like me back, and none the scenarios match"

"you can process it when you wake up tomorrow"

"but I don't want to leave you" taehyung said with a very serious look on his face.

Jungkook inhaled sharply before saying "why are you uselessly straight forward"

"I like making myself clear. I want you to know how I always feel and I want to see you react to it. I like being near you and I have so many things I want to do with you."

"do you still have yeontan?" jungkook asked completely unrelated to what taehyung said

Taehyung knew he heard him so he replied "I do"

"you know that I never do something that I'm not fully committed to, right?"

"I do"

"I'm committed here. I've made my decision. I won't go back on my word. I love you and I am willing to go all the way"

Taehyung's eyes softened but he never took his eyes off jungkook, "you said 'love' this time" and hugged his tighter and continued "can we kiss again?"
