Monty x Eclipse (Morning Motivation)

(Btw! I'd like to clear one thing in this AU)

(Moon has toned down Eclipse's kill code so he doesn't think just sadistic thoughts all the time, that's why he's not that violent or bold as he used to be, it just mellowed him down abit)

Monty woke up to the sound of rain pattering softly against the window, he got up and stretched a bit and then went downstairs, deciding to let his boyfriend sleep.

After he kinda just hung around, he got bored and went upstairs to go annoy Eclipse

Eclipse to his surprise was already awake, just staring outside the window.

This was unusual because Eclipse was actually and usually the first to get up and be roaming around the house but lately he's been down...a lot

Monty sighed and put a hand on his shoulder, "hey, time to get up" he said, Eclipse just grumbled and pulled away from Monty's hand, Monty then placed his hand on Eclipse's back and lightly nudged him "...heeeey? Earth to Eclipse? You alive?" He asked, Eclipse then moved away again and pulled he blanket over his head.

Monty sighed, this definitely wasn't normal.

He pulled the blanket off of Eclipse and hugged him close "alright, what's goin on with you Dewdrop?" Monty asked, Eclipse was quiet and still, then he curled up into a ball, and began to tremble a bit. Monty was a bit worried that he might've hurt Eclipse some how so he kinda just held him. After a while Eclipse spoke "...I just don't see a reason to get out of bed anymore...there's no reason for me to be here, my existence is useless...." He said, his voice breaking with every word. It hurt Monty's heart to see his loved one like this. Monty was usually a funny and upbeat guy but when it came to serious stuff like this, he took it pretty seriously.
"I don't have a goal, I don't know what to do anymore except kinda just existing..." he then said, Monty gave Eclipse a reassuring pat on the back and began to speak, "hey listen to me okay? You're not useless at all, you're precious to me and your brothers" he said, Eclipse just whimpered and curled up tighter "I've hurt my brothers...I don't want to keep doing it but I can't stop...I have issues that can't be solved" he said "I'm just a worthless piece of malfunctioning scrap metal.."
Monty was heartbroken to see that his loved one was hurting like this and there wasn't anything he could do to stop the negative thoughts, it wasn't like a weapon he could take away.
"Dewdrop, who put those thoughts in your head?" Monty asked, Eclipse just stayed quiet.
"...alright then, I'm guessing you dont want to say?"

"...I did" eclipse then said "I'm so weak...I couldn't beat bloodmoon back then, heck I couldn't even get Lunar to obey me...I think I should just be left here to rot and die alone for what I've done" Eclipse added
"Eclipse, listen to yourself...don't hurt yourself like this dewdrop, I love ya..." Monty said, still holding Eclipse "you've survived everything you've gone through to this point, you're the strongest person I know..." Monty said, Eclipse just lightly pushed his faceplate into Monty's chest and retracted his rays, This made Monty's heart both flutter and sink.
"Eclipse..." Monty thought about what he was going to say to comfort his boyfriend, "You are enough, you're doing your best and your best is enough, never forget that if you feel like this again you have someone who will hush you when you cry and make you feel better" Monty said "I know I can be a jerk myself sometimes, but that's just the way I am and I've learned to accept that, surely if I can do it, you can too"
"I know...I'm just so sad and I feel so alone most of the time..."

"And that's why I still hold you" Monty said in a soft tone, he gave Eclipse a small smile "so please, keep goin for me...I know things are practically shit right now but it'll get better, I love you so much, more than you could ever think" Monty then softly rubbed Eclipse's back again and comfort him, gosh the things he would do and give to see his partner smile again...

Eclipse wiped his tears away and looked up at Monty "...thank you...I love you too Montgomery" he said "I have an idea" Monty then told him, "there's a fancy diner down the street, maybe I could take you there and we can chat, eat, hang out,whatever you'd like" he added

"Sure, let me get ready" Eclipse said, finally getting up

Monty smiled at his partner

Now this was true love...
