Chapter 21

A guy was seen waiting beside the tall tree while patiently waiting for someone. Bible was standing inside the street alley where Ciel and him decided to meet up. He was wearing round glasses, black shirt, pairing it with a black jeans, covering his thigh and legs. He was doing something on his phone that he didn't even notice the person standing behind him.

A hand touched his shoulder that made him flinch a little. He was uneasy because he knew that Ciel didn't touch him in any way because he stated that he disliked him. Something feels odd.

The way the man behind him smells intoxicatingly splendid like he always knew it since childhood…

The way the guy touched him like it didn't matter…

The way those soft hands were gripping tightly on his shoulder…

Bible knew who it was.

Build.

He instantly tilted his head to the side and surprisingly, his hunched was right. It was his friend. The friend that he ruined his life. He almost jumped from the sudden presence, but he stayed calm despite his nervousness. Bible hides his phone inside his pocket when he sees Build staring, like he's the most hated person that he've ever met. Which is almost a matter of fact.

But Ciel and him are supposed to meet. Why Build? Bible was perplexed.

He was about to speak when he felt an excruciating pain coming from his left cheeks. The force was so strong that he stumbled back from his position. Build punched him. Not just once, But tons of times. He was laid on the cold cement floor with a sitting man around his torso, punching him many times. Build was in outrage and he didn't know if he could control his emotions in front of the person who almost ruined his humanity. He was mad. Worst of all, he's even crying. He gripped Bible's collar, punching the man for one last time. It sucks that he's the one crying instead of the man beneath him. But he can't help it. The fact that it was his friend, childhood friend to be specific. 

" Are you done?" Bible asked, and the pale on his voice was literally obvious, including the blood on his freaking mouth.

" Fuck you!" 

" I know I've messed up Build, but can you please let me explain first?" He was panting heavily, trying to catch his breath because of the heavy man sitting around his torso, like it's purposely ignoring the fact that he's beneath him. 

Regardless of his anger, Build stand up from the suffering guy under him, fixing his clothes from the side. He didn't speak any further just observing his helpless friend having a hard time to help himself. After a moment, Bible's attempt was successful and was now standing in front of the person, with stinging bruises around his cheeks and mouth. He didn't mind about the pain. He was worried about his crying friend. It hurted him. It's his fault why he's friend is acting like this. He thinks that he deserves all the punches and the punches that he got is not enough.

" Follow me " Build ordered and he obediently followed without any questions.

While they were walking, He was behind Build's back and he couldn't help but to smile genuinely. Bible admits that he was shameless for doing so, but seeing this guy in front of him was a big honor. He doesn't really expect that Build is the one who'll approach him first, despite his hatred for him but he knows it's not just the reason why comes. Maybe because he's also doubting Ciel.
