chapter 7- broken family

(3rd person pov)

We see in a van that falco is driving y/n david and rebecca along with some fan of david though david looks alot stronger since he got alot more chrome and y/n tough his face was hidden form just his eyes you could tell he was downcast with kiwi holding his shoulder in a caring and reasuring maner

What had happend affter the last mission was bad shriome had left along with lucy and they had found a cheap apartment in japantown though acording to the fixer they are curently working for wakako said they rarely ever show up but lucy had become alot more cautious and shirome seemed to go silverhand and went on a full blown vendeta agianst arasaka but unlike the rocker boy shirome was smart he knew how and when to atack bases and he had contacts to help wether its wrench for upgrades and gear or jori for intel he had conections with people he was shure to trust but y/n and him fought over the newly acuired vendeta and lucy was starting to be careful helping shirome but for her own reason that cuased shirome and lucy to split off the now named martinez crew and do there own thing in the shadows but clarely it wasnt the same it was a broken family

Lucy and shirome held there love but knew there line of work would make showing it hard

But back to the mission we see kiwi sit in the car as she perps a mass hack of short circuits allowing the four to bust in as david shoots and rebeca does the same y/n decides to use his pistol and kills with higher efficency and acuracy then david and rebecca with the fanboy not doing much only being given a decent shotgun

As they go through the biulding killing any malestorm members leaving white and red blood everywere

Once they reach and elevator and go up it they run into a mech

Y/n:"D you handle it il stun it"

David only nods as y/n hacks the mech and david activate his sandevistan and jumps over the mech using maines old projectile launcher to finish it

The fanboy is exited as he then gets ahead of himself and runs into a bunch of mines killing him instantly

But it opened the door for them as they save the target and call wakako over the job being done

(Time skip)

In the affterlife they are all haning out celebrating a job well done and as thwy wait faraday shows up to talk to david but y/n gladly distanced himself from the group making him look like a solo witch he was every now and then when he took jobs from jori agianst albion a smaller rival to militech

David:"faraday"

Faraday:"david my frined have you been able to get that netrunner back to your crew?"

David:"no but il work on it"

Faraday only noded as he starts walking away before noticing y/n

Faraday:"who may you be?"

Y/n:"im the fox"

Faraday:"well never thought id see the fox here well theres a famous crew you should offer your services to and i might be able to get you some jo-"

Y/n:"no i dont care who you are i already have a fixer and a team if i want to work with them"

Faraday looks anoyed as he walks out the afterlife

(Focus change shirome)

With shirome and lucy we see them in an arasaka wearhouse as they roam throguh it taking kut gaurds and hacking terminals as bith gain there own information as they finish they return to the apartment and sit on the couch

Shirome:"lucy i know we have known eachother for years and we are dating so whats your story?"

Lucy:"well its complicated but i used to be an arasaka agent since i was small i was taken to be a netrunner and was trianed to go to the old net not many people survived and at some point we had enough and escaped i ran and never looked back but this city realy reminds me of the facility i was stuck in"

Shirome:"why?"

Lucy:"well people come here with dreams just to have them crushed and trampled or just to never have a good end its the rules of this city, how about you?"

Shirome:"well i was the son of the two edgerunners who use were known as the fox and kitsune but there real names were olivia pearce and aiden pearce my mom changed last names when they got together but then y/n was born a year later me, we have been close but i never wanted to cary therr legacy it dosent feel right i mean things are difrent now i have grown acostom to it but now i have a goal to take down arasaka or at least only take him out"

Lucy only noded understanding what it meant even without a childhood she was glad to be able to make her own identity unlike shriome who was given his title but he has grown to like it

(Focus change y/n)

We see him in turbos as he sits away form everyone exept kiwi as they drank together

But then y/n got a call

Jori:"hey fox we have an albion convoy someone wants hit, and they want it done by just you"

Y/n:"who is it?"

Jori:"its wrench"

Y/n:"il do it"

Y/n hangs up as he looks towards kiwi

Y/n:"ima delta got a solo job"

Kiwi:"ok take care y/n" she says quietly so only y/n heard it

(Time skip y/n pov)

As i waited in the badlands or outskirts i saw the albion convoy and ran a hack on the first and last vichle making them stop

Panic ensuded with the albion soldiers not being able to escape good we have them stuck i ran down into the fray batton in hand as i smack down one albion soldier he passed out i then took out my 1911 in my other hand with its supressor on it about 10 gaurds remained the rest had run off or just given up though the remaining 10 were veterans so i would have more dificulty so i took off my supresor it would be useless now that the panic was over i shoot one gaurd dead giving my position as i activate my cyberdeck and jam 2 of there weapons

9 left 2 cant fight 7 threats i think to myself

I run up to one leaving my cover and shoot him twice form point blank and then i aim as time slows down and i manage to take down 3 more hitting headhsots

I see i have 2 bulets left before i need to reload and that theres 5 veterans left so i shoot at one but he takes his rifle and shoots back making me doge and miss my last two bullets so i holster my gun and run at him

Once i get to him i slide and grab his neck with my batton and snap it

4 garuds left and only 2 are an active threat the other two use there shock battons

I then run up to the other gaurd barely doging bullets and the ones that do hit are stoped by my subdermal armour protects me once i get to him i grab his pistol amd use it agianst him using only three bulets and then i shoot the last gun wielding veteran before i throw the gun away agian taking my batton as i barely block one of the last twos atacks

With the brawl becoming unfair i use a stun hack on one and as he holds onto his head i throw him onto his buddy and they fall one ontop of the other allowing me to finish them both off by activating the granade one had

(3rd person pov)

With the battle done y/n gets the loot he was sent to gather form the convoy as he calls jori to pick it up and send it to wrench

With that he goes to kiwis house a decent apartment and he buzzes the door

The door scans y/n and allows him enetry as he walks in the travel from badlands to nigjt city to meat jori and then going to kiwis house taking all day making night time by the time he gets there so he finds kiwi already asleep as he just hops into bed with her closing his eyes as he goes to sleep

A/n- antoher chapter done and im glad i manahed to finish it also i will be taking a more uniqe route for this section of the story if you watched edgerunners you will know what i mean and so i will still stay true to the main plot but maybe change some aspects and with that il see you all next chapter and also thanks so much for 1k reads im glad people are reading this and i hope they fimd it entretaining
