I was a woken by the dreadful realization I was in fact not in my own bed. I sat up and tried to take in my surroundings, which was almost impossible. The digital clock from across the dark room stated it was fifteen after three in the morning.
I shot up and ran to the window looking for an escape. To my dismay I was up three stories. I ran to the closest door; bathroom, the second door; closet, third door; this was it it led to a dark hallway. Without any rhyme or reason I took of down the hall found stares and flew down them.
Doors where being open from the floor I just escaped from people yelling to stop me and to get "the Alfa"(?) . I was taking the steps two at a time praying I didn't ruin my escape by falling down these(never ending) stares. I rounded a few corners tell I was on the (hopefully) main floor. I quickly spotted the main door and ran for it. Throwing it open, the outside air hit me like a welcoming ton of bricks.
"Eleanor, stop!" It was the same voice.
Betraying me, my body came to a halt. I could taste freedom and this evil creature was compelling me to stay and my body couldn't refuse.
I was collapsed on the front porch trying to drag my body that just couldn't move.
"Eleanor, you are to come back into this house right now!"
"No! No!" I was sobbing trying to fight my own self as I stood up and walked right back into my prison.
I made eye contact with him, the evil creature who captured me and compelled me. He was beautiful. But all wicked things are, right? That's what books taught me.
He was huge, well over six foot. Very built. He had a tan that could make any California boy jealous. He had shaggy jet black hair and gorgeous, piercing, evil, green eyes.
"Now me and you are going to walk back to your room and your going to go back to sleep and we will discuss things in the morning, you disrupted the sleep of many of my pack members. And there will be consequences. Tomorrow, now come," the way he spoke was terrifying. Pack members? Did he mean the sleepy looking twenty or so people standing around us? And consequences? For what? Trying to escape my captor?
I just shook my head which caused him to sigh and grab my arm. I felt the familiar sparks of electricity. My body betrayed me again and followed him back up the stairs. Tears fell from my eyes as I lost my chances at freedom with every step I took.
We made it back to the room I started in.
" It was my mistake in not locking the door," with that being said Satan himself left the room with the hunting sound of the door being locked.
Once I was all alone I truly let myself cry. I walked over to the window to try and see if I could see any close by homes. I was surrounded by forest. There was a small flied surrounding the house but other then that nothing but trees. I sobbed as I flopped down onto the bed and let sleep reluctantly take me, but not before saying a silent prayer for this all to be a nightmare, and if it's not, for me not to wake up.
