CHAPTER 1

Lia's POV

I heard 3 knocks on my room's door.

"Pasok." matamlay kong saad. Narinig kong bumukas ang pinto. Iniluwa non si Mandy na tila nahihirapang buhatin ang patong-patong na boxes of gifts and paper bags. Kasunod naman niya si Mimi na ibang-iba na ang hitsura compared last year because of too much plastic surgeries.

"My dear alagaaaaa!" patakbong lumapit sa queen-sized bed ko si Mimi at binigyan ako ng beso sa magkabilang cheeks.

"Hi mimi. What are you doing here? It's Sunday morning. I don't  think I have an appointment to attend to today."

Umiling siya. "I'm here to deliver a good news."

I smiled. "Care to spit it out already?"

"You have another project! Yeyyyy!" he squeaked. Mandy then clapped her hands. May dala pa pala itong isang maliit na torotot. Kulang nalang confetti para kumpleto na.

"Is it a solo project for me?" nakaramdam ako ng excitement. Ang kaninang matamlay kong katawan ay tila nabuhayan nang dahil sa magandang balitang 'yon.

Agad na sumimangot si Mimi. "Ofcourse... NOT!" my smile turned into a pout. Alam ko na kasi agad ang sagot, hindi pa man niya sabihin.

"It's another—"

"Project for LiLi Couple" inunahan ko na siya.

"Mismo." he proudly smirked.

"Anong sinisimangot mo jan my dear Alaga? Aren't you suppose to celebrate? Why? May lagnat ka ba? You look dull today," then he planted the back of hind right hand on my forehead.

Umiling ako. "No, I'm actually happy." I half-lied.

I couldn't understand myself. Dati pinapangarap ko lang sumikat at magkaroon ng sobrang daming projects. Now that I have it all, I should be happy right? But, I feel like there's something missing. At hindi ko mawari kung ano yun.

I'm hoping for a solo project. I don't have a problem with Liam, he's a good friend. After our box-office hit movie together last year, we got flooded with lots of awards, projects, guestings from huge tv shows, and we became an Official Loveteam. People now call us as 'LiLi Couple', pinaghalong pangalan namin na Lia at Liam.

On January, we won the 'Most Anticipated LoveTeam of the Year Award' at a famous award show. Humakot rin ang movie namin ng maraming awards sa mga year-end award shows platforms. We're like a dark-horse. We appeared out of nowhere on June that shocked the whole industry.

Pitong-buwan palang ang nakakalipas magmula nang mangyari lahat ng 'yon. It was a dream come true for me. I feel like I was inside a good dream. But, the more I'm getting everything, the more I'm getting bored sometimes and wanting to achieve more than what I have already obtained.

Just like having this small dream of me to have a solo project. Sa lahat ng proyektong natatanggap ko, hindi pwedeng wala si Liam. Dahil dun, madalas sumasagi sa isip ko na my career depends on him and on our loveteam. Hindi parin maiwasan ang mga bulung-bulungan tungkol sa akin na 'I can't survive alone in this industry', 'kapit-loveteam', and other murmurs from my co-celebrities my age.

"Anyways, my minamahal na alaga, make sure to rest for this whole day dahil on weekdays, puno na naman ang sched mo. With Liam, of course. Bukas ng umaga, may appointment tayo with his team. Kung anong project offers and uunahin niyong gagawin. Ofcourse, go agad ako sa movie, and your first ever series together. Malaking network ang nag-offer non kaya sino ba naman ako para humindi diba?!" hindi mapakali nang dahil sa excitement ang Manager ko. Malaki na naman ang perang kikitain niya sa mga projects na dadaluan ko. I've got no problem with it, I'm already rich. The most important thing for me is the fame I have right now.
