" Ill be home soon Jin!"

I groggily got off of the couch where the whole friend group had passed out after drinking at the club and my apartment.

Walking into my bedroom I see the girl from last night Chaeyoung. She was pulling on her dress from last night and folding the clothes I gave her last night.

" Shit! oh my god you scared the living shit out of me Soojin " she gasps.

" I'm sorry, I just heard you shouting so I came to check what the fuss was about"

" Jin had a problem with a weird customer at the bar last night, he's stuck in the store room."

" how'd he get stuck in there?"

" the weird customer kept trying to bite him? so he locked himself in the store room. he cant reach security either, so ill need to call them on the way" She says hurriedly putting down the folded pile of clothes with a confused facial expression.

" hold on ill come with you, you shouldn't go alone" I say walking to my closet for a change of clothes." I cant ask you to do that"

" you didn't ask, I offered" I smile picking out a pair of ripped jeans.

" are you sure?" she turns around to let me change. " of course chae, you're my friend" I say buttoning up my jeans and sliding a black hoodie over my head.

" lets go, ill drive us?" I say putting my hand on her shoulder and walking out of the room quietly. I quickly wrote a note and stuck it on the front door so if anybody woke up they wouldn't worry about us.

Grabbing my keys and walking down to the garage i start the car and we begin driving." do you remember anything after we came back to your place?" Chaeyoung starts.

" Not really, i got pretty drunk last night. My head is pounding" I answer truthfully.

" oh my god im sorry for making you drive it must be making it worse" she pouts. " I can drive" she pipes up.

" No no dont worry Chae i got it" I turn and smile quickly. " Youre like my brother very protective of your cars" she smiles.

" i guess you could say so, my brother gave it to me." i reply thinking about my 21st birthday. " brother? why haven't i heard anything about him?" Chae asks.

" Hes in the military now" I say focusing in on the road. Chaeyoung nods in response before we fall into comfortable silence.

" somethings off, the streets are so empty" Chaeyoung says looking out through the window worriedly breaking the silence . " did you check the time? maybe they're all asleep it is a Sunday" I reply trying to give her a piece of mind.

" last time I checked was when Jin called it was around 10am, so it cant be passed 12" she says looking over at me. "mhm it is weird but I dont think we should start worrying just yet Chae" she nods in reply.

" lets focus on helping your brother"

" alright were here" Chaeyoung quickly gets out of the car " Wait!" I pop the trunk and open the toolbox I keep incase of emergencies. " here " I hand her a massive wrench, she takes it and twirls it around in her hand.
