Fira kept walking until she reached Amethyst Forest. The forest wasn't really made out of amethysts, but whenever it rained, the beautiful raindrops made it look like the trees were crying precious amethyst teardrops at night.
Fira trudged through the forest, heading towards the nearest village. It was to be a long walk, an hour's worth to be exact, but Fira didn't care. She kept walking until she spotted a house in the distance. Fira finally reached the house, but something was afoot.
She knocked on the door, waited a while but no one answered. She knocked again, relatively louder than the first time, but no avail. She twisted the doorknob which was surprisingly open.
*GRAPHIC PART*
She opened the door and a horrifying sight met her. A family had been murdered here.A man, presumably in his late twenties to his early thirties, had been decapitated and his limbs torn apart. Near his body was his wife. Her throat was slit and her legs had been broken, probably to stop her from running away. Fira also noticed that her stomach was heavy with child.
She looked around and saw a small boy, that looked to be at the age of nine, who had been split into three. Blood poured out from his mouth and where his torso and his lower abdomen had been separated.
A smaller girl around five to seven years old, had been torn clean in half. Her eyes were open and tears still flowed down. Fira was sickened at the sight.
*CLEAN SECTION*She looked upstairs to see any mage items she could take. She knew it was disrespectful but Fira was desperate.
After finding a few potions, money, rune herbs and crystals, she went downstairs. Before fully reaching the door, she heard a raspy voice behind her.
"H...h...el....hel....help......m-m...me...." Fira turned around, startled.
The boy was still alive. She rushed over to him, and started casting healing spells. His body became whole again and Fira knelt beside him, realising that there was a huge slash against his chest, face and smaller cuts against his arms and body. She dug through her bag, finding a vial of liquid. Fira dropped one drop in each of his cuts. His wounds soon began to close and he got up, shaking as he stood up. "Are you ok?"
"Y-yes....but.." He ran towards Fira and started crying.
"Mommy....Daddy....Nana....."
"It's going to be ok. Who did this?"
"Big men. They were in black armour. Only their eyes could be seen. They stormed in, taking as much as they could. They killed Mommy and Daddy and...and....Nana, poor Nana! Mommy hid the money in a drawer and all the jewels in a fake mirror." Sinbloods.
"What's your name?"
"Norin, Norin Deltorsic."
"Well Norin, I'll protect you."
After trying so many spells to make them alive again, Fira failed. All she could do was return their bodies into a whole state. They looked...normal again, with no missing limbs, cuts or even a bruise.
Fira and Norin buried them in a small cemetery. Fira summoned two large stones and one little stone. She used magic to whittle them into tombstones, then carved the names of the family into the stones. After saying a few prayers to Eden, she covered them up with dirt.
Norin foraged for flowers and once he found three pretty flowers, he placed one flower on top of the graves, the most beautiful flower for his sister.
They travelled back into Fira's village and entered the dome again. Her fellow villagers were shocked but even more when they saw a charming little boy behind her.
She left Norin here and headed back into the Amethyst Forest. She stopped by the other village again and took as much herbs, money and runes that she could find. She left the village and headed east. To Carsicus.
