[ movie - yours, mine & ours ]
[ chapter four ]
FRANK WAS LEADING THE GROUP, with his cart filled with Ethan at his side while Mom walked behind him with equally filled cart, Aldo hanging on the railing in order to get a free ride around the store. Dylan walked after her, his cart filled with pieces of wood with Michael at his side, his cart filling up with items as well. Both William and I were behind our brothers, pushing our own filled carts in front of us.
"Okay! Blue team, spackle. Red team, insulation." Frank instructed us after he blew on his whistle just as some of our siblings pulled up behind us

Mom & Frank both had Aldo and Ethan at their sides as they led us down the aisle for our new materials. Phoebe and Michael were now in front of me, with their own carts while I stood next to Christina, our gardening carts filled. Naoko was behind us with her own cart in front of her, and I still couldn't believe that basically all the older carts had their own baskets filled with supplies already.
"Hi, Dad!" Both Otter & Ely greeted Frank loudly as they passed our aisle but Joni wasn't with them but what really caught our attention was that the twins were driving a forklift
"Otter! Ely! Hey! Hey!" Frank called out to his sons, rushing after them with the rest of us still continued to stare in shock
"Whoa, stop! Stop! Hey, hit the brake! Hit the brake!" I could hear Frank call out to them as they went out of our view and into the next aisle
"Okay, um, Christina, watch my cart please. Mom, I'm going to get a worker or a manager here as fast as I can." I reassured my Mom as we all continued to hear Frank yell out instructions to the twins
"Thank you, sweetie. Please, hurry." Mom pleaded with me as she held Aldo and Ethan tightly in her hold, her eyes closing at all the noise we were hearing
**The North's Drumstick**
I ran down the aisle where basically everyone in the store could hear the commotion was coming from. It didn't take long for us to reach the scene of the crime but we just missed our culprits from seconds if the shouts indicated something. I panted as I skidded to a stop just in time to see William pulling Frank from a green slime filled up pool.
"Admiral, you okay?" I heard William ask his father with concern lacing in his tone as he tried to steady him on his feet but Frank slipped before regathering his footing
"Where are the boys? Where are the boys? Otter!" Frank was beginning to call out, panting heavily as he turned around in a circle
We all shrieked in surprise as the toilet paper pyramid beside us started to crumble to reveal the twins still on the forklift on the other side. Mom scooped Aldo in her arms while I did the same with Ethan, the both of us running towards the self-declared safety zone. Ethan managed to escape from my arms but I quickly wrapped them around his shoulders, not wanting him to get injured.
Nobody screamed louder than Ely & Otter when they managed to corner their father between the forklift and the sandbags. Within a few seconds, the forklift managed to puncture holes onto the bags, allowing the sand to spill everywhere. Unfortunately, due to Frank already being covered in slime, the sand managed to stick on him.
"Yay, a sandbox." Ethan cheered excitedly as I allowed him to rush to the front of the crowd, the rest of us following behind him
**The North's Drumstick**
Naoko and I didn't offer to talk with Harry and neither did he, so we walked together in a tense silence to get the ladder. Within the matter of seconds, we reached our destination and quickly grabbed our spot to hold onto. I led the way back into house with Naoko and Harry behind me, each of us supporting the ladder.
