[ movie - yours, mine & ours]
[ chapter one ]
I COULDN'T HELP BUT GROAN as my body started to ache from my position on the concrete floor. Of course, it didn't help that Fiona was currently laying on me but she wouldn't budge whenever I tried to pry her off me. I finally gathered the courage to open my eyes wearily and instantly was greeted with the sight of her munching on a pizza.
"Fiona, drop it. Drop it now!" I demanded from Mick's companion but she didn't listen, instead, she got up and started to run with Rufus, Ace, and Trixie (two dogs, one cat) following her
"Fiona, come back!" Mick cried out for her as he ran out of the house and jumped over me causing me to glare at his retreating figure
"Fiona, you're not supposed to eat pizza! Erin, what happened to you girl?" Jimi asked me in concern once he skidded to a stop in front of me and I was grateful that my brother offered me his hand which I accepted as my muscles tensed themselves before relaxing
"Fiona knocked me off course," I informed him and he laughed but quickly quieted down when he saw me glare at him
"You know she didn't mean it, Fiona loves you. Want to help us catch her?" Jimi asked me with a smile even though his voice held a slight plea to it
"No can't do, brother of mine. I promised Mom and Max that I will get them something to drink since Aldo drank their juice." I said and he nodded his head before rushing off, leaving me alone in front of the house
**The North's Drumstick**
Mom, Max, Naoko and Lau, Aldo, and I were in the garage but we were doing our own things. Mom and Max were talking quietly to one another after they finished their drinks while Lau was across from them, working on a design on a notepad. Naoko was wandering around, filming everyone and everything while I steadied the ladder Aldo was on.
"Max, I'm so excited. If you get me this private line at Saks Fifth Avenue, I will love you forever. This is cute, huh?" Mom asked Max eagerly, showing him a purse before she threw it at him and he caught it
"Um, yes, thank you. This one is great. I should really get going if I'm going to make that meeting. I'm sorry, do you have to keep doing that?" Max asked Naoko as he stared her down after she basically shoved her camera at his face
"It's in my soul. Don't look at the camera." Naoko demanded Max making my eyes widen at how she was treating him
"Naoko, just back off a little bit. Give him a little room. Do a master shot, okay?" Mom might have made it seem like a question but we all knew that her tone meant otherwise
"Fine." Naoko agreed with Mom after taking a deep breath and it helped that I glared at her until she agreed
"Hello. Excuse me, want to hear my new song?" Phoebe asked everyone after she barged in and bumped into Max making him stumble a bit
"Ok, rock on. Yes! Mommy can listen to the rest of this song when your Mom and I are finished with work. Here you go." Max said to Phoebe after she played a few chords and he disconnected her aux cord before handing it to her
"It was great, Phoebe." Mom said to Phoebe with a grin and my sister nodded her head, walking away just as Mom climbed a ladder
