Five years, five years of nothing but love and compassion. Five years of a marriage filled with promise. Five years that James and Camille felt nothing but peace. They had each other, and four beautiful children.
Arthur and Olivia were four years old and little bundles of energy. Arthur was a spitting image of James, and Olivia was a spitting image of Camille. The two of them adored playing with one another and their younger siblings.
At the age of three years old, William James Remington was just as lovely as his older brother and sister. Like Arthur, he was also a spitting image of his father. He was a little firecracker, running around and making sure everyone was happy.
And then, there was the youngest Remington child, Penelope Camille Remington. At the age of two years old, she was just as lovely as her mother and older sister. She also had her mothers sweet temper.
Shortly after Charles turned three years old, Richard and Genevieve had three more children, one boy and two girls. They had the family they needed, and the royal succession was secure.
Rebecca and her daughter Margaret never returned to court. Instead, they found themselves in the very wealthy, but good, hands of a gentleman named George Parker. In the end, Margaret was joined by two more siblings, a brother and a sister.
James and Camille continued serving the king and queen, wanting to make sure that Richard and Genevieve remained happy. Of course, they were given time off whenever Camille was pregnant and during the holidays. They never had any disagreements with the king and queen, always remaining on good terms.
For everyone, happiness was in their favor. Some might have started at the bottom and worked their way to the top, but they all received what they desired. And that was nothing short of pure perfection. But above all, the greatest thing that all of them achieved was love.
