The crickets chirped an insidious chorus. While light flooded into the room, shunning its content.
Ichigo awoke from his slumber, dazed by the daylight's blast.
He slowly leaned up from his resting place. Confused.
It's was at this moment, the weight of his situation came crashing down.
"Damn it..."
His fists tightened.
"How am I going to get back?-"
"Ichigo."
A soft voice called from another room. Gaining Ichigo's attention.
"Breakfast!"

After having breakfast. Ichigo left the house and went for a stroll.
He walked aimlessly into the town. Looking at its contents.
It was bustling with life — students all walked in one direction, chatting and bickering amongst themselves, and cars of all shapes and sizes drove past on mass.
He stopped, and looked up towards the sky.
It reminded him of his home in the human world, in Karakura town.
"Hey! wait!"
A voice shouted from behind.
"Ichigo!"
He turned toward the owner of the voice.
"Issei?"
The boy halted in front of him and huffed slightly, trying to catch his breath.
He was dressed in a school uniform, the exact same kind that all the students were wearing. Looks like he went to the same school as them.
"Look man, I want to talk to you."
He spoke with a hurried voice.
Ichigo was confused by this.
"go ahead."
"Hah..."
His eyes turned resolute.
"Look, I know we got off on the wrong foot, and I know that we kind of on opposite sides but..."
He bowed sharply, surprising Ichigo.
"I'm really sorry!"
"I saw your outfit, and immediately jumped to conclusions. I thought, because of the history between the two of our sides, that you may exterminate us on sight."
"Hey, it's alright,"
Ichigo tried to console him.
"I understand, really."
"I would have probably done the same thing if I was you."
Issei's eyebrow raised.
"Huh? Really?"
"Really."
Ichigo smiled lightly.
"Look, I may not know much about your culture, but what I do know is that the Quincy were brought to extinction within the Human world around 200 years ago. Rukia told me all about it."
"Rukia?"
"Ah. A very good friend of mine from Soul society — she a Lieutenant from squad 13."
"Anyway, that was the case until they showed up."
