They all woke up pretty early after a good night's sleep, something good because Ichino had felt the anxiety creeping up on him the other before. It was there when he woke up, just not poking at him anymore. 

Alpha had woken up first, something that is just ingrained in his bone. The guy had gone for a run and went exploring the area a little bit since he wasn't familiar with Rairaiken. 

Kirino woke up a few minutes after him and at the same time Hibiki did. Since he had nothing else to do, he just help Hibiki cook breakfast and does some morning chores around the house (even if Hibiki say he didn't have to but Kirino is too stubborn).

Ichino woke up last but it was a little over 7 in the morning when he did so it counted as early. He went on to help Kirino with the chores before Hibiki asked him to run over to the shop and set it up early, which he did. 

Along the way, he saw some unfamiliar faces, residents of Rairaiken town who gave him weird and wary looks as he enters the shop and set it open for business. He was afraid someone was gonna jump him and accused him of breaking in or something but none of that happened, fortunately. 

It takes half an hour before Hibiki, Kirino, and Alpha arrived at the shop. Hibiki shortly briefed them on their roles. Kirino would take orders, Ichino would help in the kitchen, and Alpha would help with the placement of the order. Hibiki exhaled at the extra help, feeling the bone in his back relax a little. 

The business starts slow and steady, with just a few regular customers coming in to have breakfast. Hibiki was reluctant on letting them work because of the injuries they have but the kids are too stubborn to listen so he gave in. There wasn't any hassle or trouble so it passed on pretty well.

That's when lunch hit and Ichino swore the shop became a whole ass arena. Customers flooded in, regular or not and the shop was full by noon. 

Hibiki expected the kids to have a little trouble but found himself surprised that they were keeping up pretty well, even if they were inexperienced. Kirino and Alpha moved around the shop without restraint, they were quick on their feet even if they were behind held down by their injury. Ichino struggled at the beginning, not used to the cast around his arm. He adapted quickly in the end tho. There were some spilled soups but nothing serious so Hibiki approved of their skill. 

(Even if he's getting a silent heart attack whenever one of the kids winced at their injuries.) 

“ Who are the new kids? ” Hibiki perked up at the voice he recognized and sees Kamimura, an old friend of his sitting with a smile on his face. 

Hibiki contemplates how he was reckoned to answer that question. He can't just say that the three kids are from the future or something similar. So he answers with the closest thing he can come up with. 

“ Kids from a friend of mine. The parents are out of the country and needed help with taking care of their kids so I offered my help. Somehow, the kids wanted to help with the shop. ” Hibiki says with a huff like he's tired. Kamimura laughs at his friend's words. 

“ Ah, such youngsters. Youth is certainly good, yes, yes. ” He says with an amused smile while sipping on his tea. He eyes the two boys, noticing how both of them moved across the shop. His eyes narrowed down slightly before turning back to his old friend with a question.
