Is every quirk a form of symbiotic highly mutational virus?
Like it would explain how AFO and OFA work as OFA is a transferrable virus, and AFO just takes away viruses. It would also explain the dna issue.
Viruses are transferable through birth which is how quirks are transferred between generations and birth, and how mutations happen.
That would also explain how every cell dna is changed to deal with the quirk as dna is changed from viruses, and there's research on how to use viruses to change dna.
It would also explain how OFA can pass down quirks other than itself because it would contain dna from the host.
