!! small time skip !!

"YOU HAVE FUN BABY, AND YOU BETTER BEHAVE ALRIGHT?" I can hear Scarlett says over the phone as we get closer and closer to the house. "Lita is in charge, you listen to her. I won't be happy if I hear you were being naughty. Okay, mama has to go now. I love you so, so much."

"Come on Rosie, say bye-bye." I ask as I park the car in my brother's driveway. I can already see some of the decorations they put up for Julie's birthday party.

"Bye!" Rose waves back at the camera before Scarlett hangs up the phone. I quickly get out of the car and walk to the back to get Rose. She waits patiently for me to get her, phone on her lap.

I help her get out, and I even help up reach the doorbell. It isn't long until Florian opens the door, loudly, and causes Rose to scramble down to hide behind my legs.

"Hey you guys!" He greets us. I love him, but sometimes he's a little bit clueless.

"Rose do you say hi? I promise he's nice." I get down next to her, she wraps her arms around my neck clutching onto me tightly. She lets go of me for a couple of seconds to wave at the idiot standing in front of us. "Good girl. This is my brother Florian."

But thank God it isn't long until another little girl joins us on the front door and Rose loosens up a little. "ROSIE! You came!" She grabs my hand and pulls me, and Rose who I am holding, into the house.

"Of course we came! We couldn't miss your birthday mon trésor. You're turning five, you're getting old." I tease ruffling her hair. Though she doesn't appreciate it and pushes my hand away.

"You're old!" She sticks her tongue out and, joining her game, I begin to smirk a little. "NO AUNTIE LITA NO! NO TICKLE MONSTER! RUN ROSE RUN!"

They run to the living room and I just wait in the hallway for a good couple of minutes for them to hide, otherwise where's the fun right?!

Once it's completely silent, I walk into the living room. My sister, Rachel and my mom sitting on one of the two couches, my dad leaning against the window and Florian slowly trailing behind me. "Have you seen... God, what are their names again!? Rose, I think and... Juliet? Justine? Oh, no Julia... or is it Julie? Is it Alzheimer that comes with age or am I forgetting everything!?" I can hear their giggles from behind the second couch.

Fine, then. We'll play a little longer.

"Hmm no I'm sorry Lita."

"Do you guys hear that? Or I am hearing things? I'm going crazy!" Quietly, I walk toward the second couch and peer over it, and surely enough here are the two girls. Julie and Rose hiding together, Julie's hand clasped over Rose's mouth to keep her as quiet as possible though it was obviously useless. "Found you!"

"Run!" Once again I let them run. "Help!"

"Fear not, my lovely princesses. King Florian is coming to the rescue. Tickle her sides." And before I can even react he pushes me down the couch.

"Wha- NO." The two girls' bodies collide with mine, and they team up against me until I can barely breathe. "I YIELD!" I just lay there as everybody else laughs. Honestly, it is 10:45am and I could already have a nap. Today is going great!

"We got the old wicked witch!" Florian continues...

This bitc- No, Lita there are kids around.

"Careful 'King Florian' you're older than I." And that suddenly shuts him up. God, maybe I do have superpowers.

I slowly get up and grab Rose's hand, she still has some people she has to meet. She's doing so good, Scarlett mentioned she wasn't always the best with new people but so far she's been amazing. "Come on princess Rose. Your majesty still has some people to meet."
