Chapter 3- Her Past

<Five Years Ago>
-Land of Byzel-

"Maki! Maki!" my mom called. "It's morning already and you need to do the shopping!" I woke up from my sleep and went downstairs to take a bath and leave. As I leave the house, I went straight town I heard sounds of people's voices pumping up like there's a festival.... "Oh!" I exclaimed. "I forgot, there's a festival today! Why didn't mom tell me? Wait. Maybe she also forgotten....." After I drop off the groceries in the house, I went to the festival and watched the fight. "Hmm.. I guess the players are quite strong and skilled today huh." I said as I whispered to myself.

-Final Round: Matrona vs. Meliodafu-
~Silence~
Why did they stopped? Is something going on? I kept hearing noises of people wanting them not to stop, until..... "My name is Dragon's Sin Meliodas! And we're the Seven Deadly Sins! If you don't get your buts out of here, we'll take over this town!" He shouted. What? What's going on? Why did.....? And a moment after, people started running, Holy Knights from the kingdom started fights with the Deadly Sins and everyone was panicking. I was scared. We are scared. The whole town is. I don't exactly know what to do, If I would consult the Deadly Sins or the kingdom's Holy Knights! Cause right now, all of them looked like the enemy to the eyes of us ordinary humans. I started running, tears falling and I never knew what to do at that time. I was so so scared. And then a vision filled my head. It was a shadow person. A kid perhaps. I can see the fight earlier, that Old Fart somehow looked familiar in me. I stopped for a while, I was hiding in a forest thinking about the vision.

I can hear noises. Blood. Sounds of people running for their lives. Magic. I can hear magic. Crashes. And..... I can hear myself, crying. Tears falling. I can't stop crying, that's because I was... No.... I am scared. Again, there was a vision, but it was clearer, clearer than before but it was blurred. Somehow that vision calmed me down. And then again, the vision is visible.....

-Flashback-

"I can't believe I'm going to do shopping today. It's so hot!" Due to my boredom, I don't know my foot slipped and I fell into a cliff. "Huh? Ehh!!! Anyone! Help!!!!" I shouted. I closed my eyes. I was so scared. The feeling of falling into a cliff during my bored ness is scary. And then I lost consciousness. Seconds later, I felt warmth. I opened my eyes, someone was beside me. "Yo. You awake?" He said. "Where am I?" I asked the person as I slowly sat down. "Your in a cave." He then replied. "But why...." I can't remember. All I can see in my head is a person and a boy in front of me. "I saved you. You should be thankful." He said. "How mean." I whispered. "So?" I asked. "How did you saved me?" Somehow in my case, it's pretty blurry. Especially my memory. It got rumbled up when I fall into that cliff. I'm a complete idiot.

With thorough chat with him, I got to know more about him, his name, his race which is a fairy, where he lives, and the girl from his past. He has a very tragic past and life. "So Harlequin.....," I start. "Just call me King." He said. "Why King? Harlequin's a better name. Never mind. So how did you got out of the prison in the kingdom?" I ask. "Well, there was a person, which is the Captain of the group I'm currently in, more like, adopted me and because of that I joined his group. He's a nice person yet very mysterious." He replied. "And how bout that giant girl? Diane? How will you react when you see her again?". For a person in love, I don't exactly know what to say.

He then answered...... "I don't know."
