Hello readers! I'm offJACK, but you can call me Jack. I had this idea for what you might call an AU on the roblox game DOORS. I wanted to create a story that could explain aspects of the game and was centered around the entities rather than the player character. This is my first time writing fanfiction. I look forward to hearing what you all think!

As of writing this, floor two hasn't been released. When it does release, this story won't change. This story is not canon at all and if anything happens to appear in future updates, that's a lucky coincidence.

I don't know how long it usually takes for people to update their books on here, but I think it's going to take me a while. I wanna put all my effort into writing a story that I can be proud of, so please forgive the time gaps between chapters. This A/N section is gonna be where I post updates regarding this series.

There won't be any sexual content, but there may be references to it. There is going to be gore, swearing, and violence. Consider yourself warned.

Hey everyone! Wanted to get out an extra chapter while I was on break. 

Just wanted to add here that (...) is supposed to mean a flashback, this (...) is just a general break. Idk if I'll change this in the future, knowing me I probably will but I'll go back and fix it at some point. I know I want to fix Chapter 0 cuz I found that format a pain to read for me.

Besides all that stuff, I wanna wish yall Happy Holidays. Merry Christmas (if you celebrate it), and Happy New Year!

First note of the year! Just wanted to tell yall the next chapter is coming next week. I originally planned for tomorrow, but between classes and stuff outside of school, I've found I barely have any time to sit down and write. I'm hoping that I can push out a few chapters during the spring, but the fastest I can put out content at this time is monthly. Anyways, see you next week.

Chapter 2 is here! And with the Hotel+ update right around the corner too!

While I was writing this chapter, I realized there needs to be names for the rooms. 

When I finish that list of names with the descriptions, I'll post them here and probably make a page on the wiki.

So, I finally got around to playing Hotel+. There's quite a few new rooms and I haven't seen all the new content yet. I think I have a good framework down for the room types, but yall may not see it until after Chapter 3 drops. Hell, it could even be on the Doors wiki first. I really like the update though! The devs really found a cool way to ramp up the difficulty. Next chapter coming at the end of this month or early March.

Also, happy valentine's day! Even if you don't have a special someone, it never hurts to give a little love.

Hey guys, bad news. This series is going on hiatus. These next few months my life is gonna get very busy. I was surprised I found the time to post chapters at all during my school year, but I'm not gonna have the luxury of regularly posting anymore. I felt that rather than extending the time in between chapters, it would be better to take a break and return at a time where I'll be able to write much more. No, I don't plan on abandoning this book. I will still be writing and planning while I'm away, you just won't see any of it until I return. I'll be fixing the formatting in my chapters, too. New content coming June 30th. See you then!
