Can I just ramble for a bit, share my controversial views? Probably make people ticked off at me? No opinions on the internet you say? Well screw you random individual! :3
For a sword to be effective in combat, it must be heated near to melting point between short bursts of hammering, shaping it, then when it is in the desired form, it is dipped into either water or oil to quickly cool it off and harden the steel. In battle, it is used constantly, bashed against armor and other blades. A soldier defending their country relies on that blade with their life, and if it is not properly made, the soldier fails and dies.
When people go through hardships, it can either make you into a better, stronger person, or you can allow it to break you and turn you bitter and whiny. Those who have gone through suffering, understand suffering, and can not stand to see others suffer. Those who were lonely, understand being alone, and will talk to people who are alone, helping them. I myself suffer from depression, as many have probably already guessed reading my works, and as terrible as it is, it has helped me to see and understand how people really think. Consistently, I have found that people who are born with a disability such as being crippled or being mute are far kinder and sweeter than those who were not... What I have seen when it comes to depression and disabilities is so consistent, I've become convinced that as hard as these things are, they are good things. Yes, there are many who lose themselves to their hardships, and I know many of you (including me) have lost people close to them to their depression, but every single one I have met, when they are not suffering... Their smiles are genuine, their words kind and heartfelt...... *Lets out a low, pent up, frustrated breath* when you go through suffering, will you let it break you, or make you? Every hardship is just that hammer falling, beating you into shape... Please, if you feel as if your heart bleeds, don't lose hope, you know what it's like to suffer, and you know how others who suffer wish to be spoken to... You understand, and that understanding can allow you to make more of a difference than you could ever possibly realize...
*Lets out another sigh* I just... I'll probably take this down when I'm myself again, I just had to let all of that out... Unless one of you believes I should keep this up... Idk...
