Matteo's Point of View:

"Wake the fuck up Matteo!" I woke up to a pillow in my face and to the ear bleeding voice of my older brother, Nico. I groaned, "Okay, okay.." I got up and kicked Nico out of my room. After I finally got my door locked, I changed into my uniform: A white polo shirt, khaki cargo pants, and a navy blue sweater. All right, let me back up here.

Hi. My name is Matteo Agostino. I'm sixteen years old and I go to Groves High School. I have a pretty average life, I guess. I live in an apartment with my brother and parents. I have like.. 2, maybe 4, friends. Anyways let's move on.
As I walked to the kitchen I heard ABBA being blasted from the TV--which meant today was gonna be a good day. Hopefully. "Hurry up and eat breakfast you're gonna be late," Nico turned to me as he was washing his bowl. I don't go to school until 7:20.. I sighed, "Where's dad?" My brother slid a bowl of cereal to me when I sat down and said, "Out of town, won't be back until Friday." I nodded and started eating my cereal. Nico was dancing in the kitchen as the chorus of Dancing Queen started playing, for goodness sake he's weird as hell. "I'm gonna leave to school early. Make sure you get to class too," I scolded him as I put my bowl in the sink. He just shrugged so I put my backpack on, grabbed my cello, and walked out of the house.

I sat down at my seat and took my notebook out. Language arts isn't that bad, I guess. I looked at the chair one spot away from mine. To see that she wasn't there gave me hope that it could possibly be a good day. Now, you may be wondering who I'm talking about. I'm actually talking about my best friend, Faye Suzuki. Her skin is a creamy brown color that compliments her hazel eyes. She has straight, pastel pink hair which she always wears in a ponytail. Faye may be pretty, but she's very chaotic and loud--which disturbs the class and sends her to detention for three days. Don't get me wrong, I love that girl! ..When she's half asleep and can barely think. I get waken from my thoughts once I saw Faye sit down and wave.
"Hi."
"Hi?"
"Hi!"
"Hi..?"
"HELLO!!"
"Hi."
After greeting each other back and forth I turn to the front of the class and wait for this to be over.
My locker is across the school from my language arts class, so I have to pretty much run. Things can go bad running through a crowded school so obviously, I bumped into someone. And it was Aeron Holloway, the quiet kid that people seemed pretty much afraid of. The kid that looks sweet, could kill you, but is pretty nice. I've talked to him once or twice for projects and he's VERY serious about his grades. "Ah- I'm sorry." he quickly turned away and continued walking.
Off topic but being honest, he was the only real person I found even the slightest bit attractive. He has curly black hair and brown eyes that have hints of green in them. A consistent peach complexion that I bet people are jealous of. Not only that but his voice is gentle and calm. Mad Aeron however, I could never listen to that voice for no longer than three minutes. I was lost in my mind until the the bell rang and someone literally dragged me all the way to history class. It took me a hot second to figure out it was Faye. She sent me off with a cheesy smile and a salute while walking backwards to her science class.

i'm pretty proud of this chapter even though it took me almost two months because of my lack of motivation. the next chapters will be more interesting--probably. also sorry for using the usual, "bumping into someone" method i'm scared okay?
