The blue diver suit felt heavier then usual on Rex as he removed the bulkier pieces of it. "Got a good feeling about this one. Should be able to turn up a decent profit, and the box is in serviceable condition, so I bet I could sell it too."

"Honestly, my boy. It takes you hours to pinpoint the amount of titanpeds you must travel, yet you can gauge the profits in an instant?" The large Titan swivelled his head to look at his charge. "What if you are mistaken, and it barely nets you anything?"

"Then we go back out. Honestly, Gramps, why you gotta come and rain on my parade like that? Besides, you won't have to worry about that, because we can make a decent amount off this." Rex wedged a crowbar into the box, and began to pry it open. "After all, a little business sense... will go a long... way!"

The box burst open, and a large crustacean pried itself out of the box.

"Haha!" Rex said, swapping the crowbar for his shanty junksword. "We got a feast now, Gramps!"

Rex parried a strike from the pinchers, and chopped the offending limb off with a solid swipe. Angering the Crustip, it lunged, but was put down by a stab directly to the skull. The dead Crustip dropped.

"Hoo boy, I was getting hungry, anyways! I'll have leftovers for days!" Rex rubbed his hands together at the prospect of grilled Crustip shell. Nearly drooling, the boy began to set up the brazier.

We're pulling up to dock now, my boy!" Gramps called.

"Awesome! I'll sleep at the inn tonight, alright? Let you have a bit of a break from me."

"My boy, I don't need breaks from you. But I will appreciate a quieter night. Thank you, Rex."

"No problem. This haul will net me plenty of pay to afford it, too."

"Yes, well, remember! We may be at Argentum a lot, but this is not a safe place. Stay away from shady folks, and keep your sword on hand." Gramps said as he came up to the docks.

"Of course, but c'mon Gramps. You know that Argentum has plenty of friendly faces. Speaking of..." Rex hopped off Gramp's back to greet Hirkham. "Hey, Hirk! How's Argentum today?"

"Business is steady. I see you've got some salvage. You have a docking fee for me this time?"

"I will in a moment. I just gotta get my pay from Melolo first! I'll be right back!" Rex said, before running off with his haul, and stopping to appreciate a black boat in the harbour.

"H-hey! Rex! You know I can't hold a- Aww forget it." Hirkham turned to the Titan.

"Sorry laddie, no wallet. Don't worry though, he'll be back soon enough."

Hirkham sighed. "Ahh, if you insist..."

...

"That's all!?" Rex asked, flabbergasted. The haul he predicted would make close to 2000G made a measly 750G.

"Meh, sorry Rex. Is all Melolo can give. Still more then I give to any other chump in this place though."

Rex sighed. "Guess the inn will happen another day. Alright, deal. 250 now, and you know what to do with the rest, right?"

"Yes-yes! Send to Corinne in Fonsett Village, yes?" Melolo said, forking over 250G.

"Yep." Rex said, pocketing the cash.

"Mehmeh, Rex truly touching Melolo's heart, sending money home like that! Wish lazy sonnypon would do the same!"

"Well, it's not like I would need all of it anyways. Might as well send it back home, where it'll do some good." Rex said. "Anyways, thanks Melolo! I better go pay the docking fee!"
