"Thank you, Shawn. You've done me a huge favour." Nairen said as he and Shawn unloaded the cargo.

"Aw, no worries." Shawn said. "Just think of helping me unload as paying me back."

"I will. That's all your stuff?"

"Yep, that's all. But job ain't done yet. Gotta haul it all to Alba Cavanich, now. Thankfully, there's a crew coming to help. Wont be waiting for long. You just go report to yer boss, yeah?"

"Sure. Thanks again." Nairen said before he turned and made his way to Alba Cavanich.

...

Nia never wanted to take her jumpsuit off more then ever. Just stepping off the ship to the port had her sweating. But she resisted the urge as she tucked behind a large crate for shade with Iona, Dromarch, and Roc as Rex, Tora, and Poppi handled the soldier at the front gate.

"Hey!" Rex called to them, waving his hand. "We're cleared to go!"

The walk to Alba Cavanich was short, though they did make a short detour to get rid of Skeeters that were hampering a Nopon merchant's route to town.

They walked up to the elevator, and Tora pressed the button to call it down. The doors opened as the crew stepped inside. "I'll be honest... I'm a little nervous to be here." Nia muttered.

"I don't blame ya." Rex responded. "After that issue with Morag back in Gormott, now we're waltzing straight into her home turf."

"Friends worry too much!" Tora said. "Let's just blend in with crowd, easy enough."

"Masterpon correct." Poppi added. "As long as we don't cause a problem, we should be A-okay!"

The elevator stopped and the doors opened. "For all of our sakes, I hope you're right, Poppi." Dromarch said as they all stepped off into the city.

"Woah..." Nia gaped at the massive buildings around Alba Cavanich. "This place is... woah."

Rex coughed. "Cool place, but- koff... a little... polluted."

"Yes, Mor Ardain is the home of industrialization for a reason." Gramps said. "Even back in the Aegis War, their tech was a cut above the rest of them."

"This place is very different from Uraya." Dromarch said.

"Indeed. Uraya have cool climate with lots of plant and animal life. But Mor Ardain is a desert. A lot of the heat and dryness stems from the age of Mor Adrain's Titan. The magma below the ground, or the Titan's blood, is boiling more then usual, causing the Titan's climate to skyrocket." Poppi stated.

"Yes, when Titans are old enough to die of natural causes, their blood usually heats up to incredibly high temperatures. Mor Ardain was always a hot climate, but it used to be able to sustain luscious plant life that could rival Uraya. Or it did, a long time ago." Gramps said. "Now, it's a barren wasteland, as you can see. Though it would look like this even if the Ardainians weren't so industrialized, because Mor Adrain's Titan is getting old, even for a Titan. That's the reason why they colonized Gormott all those years ago, so that they'd have somewhere to go once their Titan dies."

"And since Gormott is a relatively young Titan, especially for a continental one, only being around 600 years old, it would be a home for Ardainian's in the future for a long time to come." Dromarch said.

"Thanks for the history lesson..." Nia dryly remarked. "In all seriousness, this place sure does look busy..."

"Meh, we should go find inn first right?" Tora asked. "Tora not know where to start looking at all..."

"Let's just split up then. Dromarch and I will ask around the shops over there." Nia said. Rex nodded. "I'll take Iona and Roc to check around by the bridge." Rex added.
