Jeonghan didn't know where he had the confidence to slap his now ex-husband and say all those thing he had just said. Pero one things for sure, hindi niya kinaya once it dawned on him.

The readied divorce papers, the betrayal, the daughter, the way his son was treated by his own Father, the way Mingyu treated Soonyoung the other way around, the driver, the house, the moment he actually signed.

Throughout the car ride, in which Jihoon offered to drive, was silent, but Jeonghan's outburst of muffled sobs at the back made Soonyoung burst out crying as well.

Jeonghan then slipped his hand to his son's shoulder to whom was sitting at the passenger seat upfront.

A gesture of comfort from a parent to his child. A gesture that showed how Jeonghan will always put Soonyoung before anything. Even his own feelings.

Unbeknownst to them both, Jihoon had driven all the way to Mingyu's place, and instead of being surprised, Mingyu is already up front at the door of his house the moment the gates of his home opened. Waiting for them.

Mingyu didn't wait for Jeonghan to open the door. Mingyu almost ripped off the door opening it and hurriedly engulfing the latter to a tigh embrace.

"I'm sorry, Hannie. I should've said something earlier. I should've done something for you. For Soonyoung." At that moment, Jeonghan started wailing like a child, but Mingyu never lets him go.

It took hours before Jeonghan was finally knocked out by exhaustion, and Mingyu, for the first time, was thankful for it, because crying Jeonghan just made everything hurt for him.

"It'd be best to stay here for awhile. Jeonghan may have a lot of properties but leaving him and Soonyoung alone is not a good idea." Mingyu nods, "I agree, they'd be better here. Not a trace of that asshole."

".....How's Pa?" Soonyoung asks.

Mingyu then hugs Soonyoung, "Natutulog lang ang Papa mo sa masters bedroom. It's the largest room there is, and it's more convenient for him since the bathroom there is built in. He won't have to show a strong face."

Soonyoung mumbles softly in his Tito Gyu's embrace, "Thank you. Thank you for everything, Tito Gyu." Mingyu hugs the younger tighter, " Kahit ano para sainyo ng Papa mo. And I've always told you Youngie, my friends are also part of my family, and when it comes to family: there is no need to say 'thank you' nor 'sorry'."

.....

Gumising si Jeonghan sa isang malaking bedroom na hindi niya matandaan kung kanino. He's never been in there before and he's sure he didn't do anything stupid last night that made him end up in another man's bed.

Mingyu knocks on the door, "Hannie-yah, you awake?"

Nagulat si Jeonghan, it was a sudden yet soft knock and Mingyu's familiar voice made him feel relaxed once again. Now he remembers. What happened last night.

Such a dreadful night.

"I just want you to know that you can stay here for as long as you like, but I got a phone call from your parents earlier this morning. They want to see you and Youngie for a bit." Jeonghan didn't say a word but Mingyu knew he didn't want to go. Not yet, at least.

"Take your time, Hannie-yah. I'll just be here around the house. Call for me when you need something."

.....

Ilang araw nang nakakumpol sa loob ng kwarto si Jeonghan, and Mingyu has never once forced him out of it. The room was huge, also with its own built-in bathroom that could be a bedroom itself and a walk-in closet of its own kind; with new, fresh clothes stacked up for him to use.
