Jihoon, Soonyoung, Jisoo and Seungcheol all got aboard a plane the next day when everything blew up. Jihoon didn't intend for it to be this worse but he knew, it could have been way worse than this.
Jihoon was Jisoo and Seungcheol's friend. he had always written their songs for their group but he couldn't remember when his friendship started to be more wholesome with Jeonghan.
In this situation, anyone would have been more inclined to support Jeonghan; not the two groupmates.
The flight was agonizingly tense and cold (mostly Soonyoung). Pero ang masakit para kay Soonyoung was that: Hong Jisoo was not making any last ditch attempts to reconcile or even change his mind about the divorce.
And when they get home to Jeonghan, Soonyoung could only imagine the world of pain and humiliation that he'd be feeling.
.....
Jeonghan couldn't remember the last time his husband was home for a family dinner, but as soon as he picked them both up from the airport, his son was giving attitude at his own dad to which slightly irked him.
"Youngie-yah, what's wrong?"
"Hmm? Appa?"
Jeonghan sighs, "You've been glaring daggers at your Dad, not to mention di mo siya pinapansin at ang Tito Cheol mo"
All of them couldn't utter a word, hence the silence they gave to Jeonghan's query.
Picking his husband and son up at the airport wasn't only strained to them both. Nang nakita ni Jeonghan na kasama sila Jihoon at Seungcheol, he offered to have dinner with them. And none of the four could even get a word in.
Hence, the elaborate, fucked up dinner.
"What? Did you all get arrested in the States or something? And gingawa niyong sikreto saakin?" Jeonghan jokingly said, to which Jihoon shook his head, "No, walang nangyaring ganun."
"Edi ano? Shuji? Cheol?" The man clearly irritated at how they are keeping the stiff upper lip. Jihoon had his lips in a thin line when he noticed how Seungcheol's hands gripped paper napkin. Hard.
In Jeonghan's mind, Seungcheol is also one of his closest friends through Jisoo, and the thought of Jeonghan warmingly welcoming him, calling him by a simple nickname... It made him guilty.
It made Choi Seungcheol guilty.
Before their flight //
"Jisoo-yah. Don't divorce him."
"What?"
"Don't divorce Jeonghan."
Hindi maintindihan ni Jisoo kung anong sinasabi nito. I mean, he knew. Jisoo knew na hindi gusto ni Cheol sa simula palang ng marinig nito ang balak niya. Cheol have always had a soft side for Jeonghan and Jisoo could see that.
Jisoo sighs, "We've talked about this, Cheol. Last week pa. We've decided that this is the better thing. Not only for us, but for Han as well. For Soonyoung. For our daughter, Lizzie... Jiwonie."
"We couldn't do it 10 years ago, but now we need to. It's no longer a matter of want. It is necessary, Cheol."
Back to the present //
"Nothing, Han. We just had quite the busy time there."
"Kwento naman kayo. About what you did, did you buy things? Did you go to museums?"
" ..... That reminds me, to make things easier. Dad has something to give to you, Pa."
"Youngie?" Jeonghan looks at Jisoo, "Shuji?"
