You make sure the door was fully closed before you took in a deep breath, turning around to face her.

      "Good morning" you greeted.

"Y/N...I didn't expect you to be back so soon" she stood up, and you noticed that Shadow Weaver's meal has been placed outside the magic circle.

You placed your book on the ground and slide the plate into the magic circle.

"Sit and eat, Light Spinner," you said.

She was a little startled hearing you still call her old name, but she complied, sitting on the ground and taking the plate into her hand.

"Do you mind?" You heard a click as she unlocked her mask but still held it up against her face.

You stepped back and turned around for her to finish her meal. It wasn't long before you heard a clicking sound again.

      "How was it?" You asked.

"It tastes much better than the food at the Horde"

"Good to  hear that, Light Spinner"

"......You shouldn't call me that anymore, I am not the person I was" she spoke up, shifting her position to sit more comfortably.

"Ah, yes" You turned around "I can see that Shadow Weaver" Silence filled the room after that. You don't know if calling her that made her happy or not. "What happened to you?"

"After casting the spell of obtainment, I joined the Horde. Lord Hordak allowed me to use power from the Black Garnet until...what I said yesterday" She replied.

"And you left me and everyone else" You kneeled down to look at her straight in the face "Very selfish"

      "But I'm here now, aren't I?"

"Yes, as a prisoner, I wasn't really expecting that" You let out a dry laugh "But I'm glad you're here"

"I thought you were angry at me" she...probably raised her eyebrows

"I am, but we'll get to that later. I just want to see you now"

"I see, then tell me what did you do to be here?" she asked.

"Have the Horde ever tried to bomb Mystacor?" Shadow Weaver avoided her gaze at the question. "Well, back then I became a member of the sorcerer guild along with...Micah. I didn't get my own statue though if you're wondering" You gave out a dry laugh "They offered to take yours down and rebuild it as mine, but I refused. Anyway, when the bomb landed, the others didn't understand the Horde's tech but I did since I'd been researching them before enrolling in Mystacor"

"You were the one who disabled it?" she asked in surprise.

"Ha, so you do know about it" You grin at her "Long story short, back then Micah was still engaged with Queen Angella. So I basically saved Etheria's future king and his sister. Later on, queen Angella became fond of me, and I got myself a room here"

"Ah, I always know that you've been hiding something from me, clever girl"

You don't know whether you are embarrassed to be called like that as an adult or something else, but you were showing clear red blush on your cheeks. You suddenly changed the subject.

"Ahem! Umm...being in here must be boring right? Do you want to read some books? I brought some and thought you'll be interested" You said as you presented the cover of the book for her to see.

"I have already read these spell books multiple times in the past, I guess I'll pass" she refused "But do you mind bringing me that chair over there? You see, sitting on the ground is very uncomfortable"

The chair wasn't that heavy (at least for you anyway) so you were able to drag it to her pretty easily.

      "Thank you"

"Are you sure you don't want some books? I don't get out of my room often so-"

      "No, thank you"

"Take it, because I won't be coming back later"

      "Don't be anno-"

"Y/N!" the door swung open as queen Angella walked into the room looking worried "I did not give you permission to see her, come with me right now!" she intensely pull you out of the room and you know exactly why she was so worried.

-------------------

You both arrived at the meeting room, queen Angella harshly closed the door before starting to scold you.

"I don't understand why you would talk to her again, I know that you love her, but she did terrible things to you before!" she stepped closer to you "And Micah, he was traumatized for life, you were there you saw fears in his eyes!"

"Worry not, your majesty. I am aware that she's dangerous" you said avoiding her gaze "And it doesn't matter if anything happened, no harm will come to any others"

"That's the reason why! You...will be the only one who will be sacrificed. You know my affection towards you, I cannot afford to lose you like I lose Micah"

      "Your maje-"

"And she's a traitor as well, she doesn't deserve someone like yo-"

       There it goes again...

"Angella" you interrupted with a stern voice  "We have been through this before, I will be the one who decided who deserved me and you know well that I have only one love and I can never be yours"

"But you have helped me so much, when Micah was gone you were the one that help me go through those difficult times. How could I not have feelings for you...?" her voice trailed grabbing your hand, and holding it gently "Shadow Weaver is not who she was anymore, no one can ever be the same after disappearing for two decades"

"I know" you pulled your hand back "I am trying my best so that she and I can be close again, just like that time before Micah, before her disappearance and all this. I will be hers"

"You tried too hard! She will never see that much good in you, just like how she neglected you before"

"Well, at least I'm a person of action! Not like you who will wait and wait until the Horde takes all our possessions!" you raised your voice "While I rot up in my room, trying all those dangerous tech stuff to see if we can win, all you do is try to figure out a plan!"

      "Y/n! You have no rig-!"

The door swung open as a few people walked in.

"Why can't I have any conversation without being interrupted" you angrily mumbled.

"I heard arguing, is everybody alright?" Perfuma asked as she walked, after her was the others "Your majesty, you've called a meeting, are we too early?"

"No, no, miss Y/N and I are fine, come in let's discuss"

You left the room without a word.

Well, aren't you a cold one.

-----------------

It wasn't long before you were informed that Adora was taken by the Horde.
