I squealed in delight when I saw Cole holding a tray filled with our food. He placed it down and take his order while I take mine.
I took a bite of my sandwich and moaned when the heavenly goodness hit my taste buds.
"I'll never get tired of eating this." I said happily.
I saw Cole typing away on his phone so I decided to ask him who is it.
"It's Megan," I saw some sparks in his eyes which got my eyebrows raised in amused manner.
"Man, your whipped." I whispered in the air.
"What was that?" he asked still not looking away fom his phone. Totally whipped.
"Nothing."
I took another bite of my heaven of a food and glanced around the place. I heared a bell ring so I looked at the glass door and saw a guy in my age, he turned around and I'm staring right into a paired of blue eyes. He started to walk towards our table I glared at him but he didn't stop.
My mind drifted to the thought that he's my partner for the project and I, have to work with him. How nice. I'm still glaring at him when he stopped right infront of us. My brother looked away from his phone when he started to feel another presence.
"Who's this? Do you know him?" He gestured at Keith.
"I'm his partner for our English project." So, he already knows? Probably, because he is now getting popular so a lot of students talked to him.
Cole looked at me and I nodded my head.
"Well then, I better be going now." I looked at him shocked that he'll leave me with this homosapien or should I say alien. "Do you mind driving her home?" I'm now gaping at Cole. Why would he say that?! I thought he's the protective kind of brother?!
"No, I don't mind." Keith said, smiling genuinely at my brother.
"Thanks, man." he said, getting up from his sit and started to walk away.
"Where are you going?" I called.
"Megan's."
I heard a scraping sound and saw that Keith pulled out the chair that my brother is once seated. He sat at the chair across from me and smirked.
"Partners huh?" I just raised one of my eyebrow.
"Let's just get this over with by working on it together and then done." He looked at me amused. I want this done as soon as possible. I don't like spending time with him.
"Your place or mine?" He asked.
"No one's place. Let's just go to the library or something and do it there."
"Are you serious?"
"Do I looked like I'm joking?" I said while I glared at him.
He hold his hands out in a surrender way. "Easy, kitten. I'm just asking."
"Don't call me that!" I growled out.
"Tigrotto,"
"What?" I said in a irritated way.
"That's for me to know and-" I smacked him in the head. "Ow! What was that for?!" I rolled my eyes and looked at him blankly.
"About this project," I started. "You should always bring a notebook and a pen with you when we're going to meet because I'm not letting you to just lay down all day."
"Yes, ma'am." He saluted. He grabbed my sandwich from my hands and took a huge bite out of it. If looks could only kill, he'd be six foot under.
He gaved it back to me and I raised my eyebrows, "Thanks, but no thanks." I said pushing it away.
"Your lost." he said and took a huge bite of my sandwich.
We talked more about the project and what not. He's not really that bad when he's all smiling and not smirking every minute.
"She did what?!" I exclaimed and started to laugh.
"I know right," he laugh along with me.
He's telling a story, an embarassing story about her mother in teenage days. Her mom was shopping at a grocery store for toiletries and snacks when she suddenly slipped and end up on the floor. Someone held their hand out for her to take and she was going for the hand but then she slipped again and her hand ended up being on the guy's crotch.
"And that's how my parents met." He said grinning.
I opened my phone and looked at the time, it's already 5:31 PM. I should be going home now.
"I think you should drive me home now before my parents started to get all hysterical about me not being home." I said standing up from the chair.
He chuckled. "Alright,"
I followed behind him and saw that he stopped infront of a black truck. He opened the door for me and I mumbled a thanks. He jogged all the way on the other side and get in.
"Lead the way," he said and started the car.
I gave him directions where my house is and he just nodded. Not long after, he pulled on the driveway of our very home.
"Bye." I said smiling and get out of the car.
"See you at school!" he shouted when I'm about to open the door. I waved and get inside the house.
