"Look, I really need your help." he said looking desperately at me.
"Help with what?" I asked while shifting my position on the chair.
He stopped for a minute and seems to be thinking. I saw frown lines beginning to form on his forehead.
"I need you," he paused. " I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend, Lana."
"Wait, let me think this through." I said breathlessly. "You need me," I gestured to myself. "To pretend to be your girlfriend?" He nodded.
I'm speechless right now.
"Please, i'll do anything."
"Are you really that desperate?" I said narrowing me eyes at him.
"Yes." he answered without hesitation.
"Why me? There's a lot of girls out there. Why choose me?"
"Because I trust you." I let out a huge breath and bite my lower lip
"Okay, I'm going to help you."
I agreed because I help all my friends. I agreed because I also trust him. I agreed because I grown a liking to him.
I just didn't expect to be someone's girlfriend by pretending but we don't know, it might be worth it.
