When Mom saw that we're all already there, she started the prayer and well, breakfast time!
Pancakes, fried rice, orange juice, eggs, and bacon are for breakfast today. Yum.
I put a lot of pancakes and bacon into my plate and started eating. Suddenly, Tristan and Cole started fighting over a food. I sighed lazily thinking they have to start a fight over a food. Again.
"YOU ASSHOLE! THAT'S MY FOOD YOUR GETTING! GIVE IT BACK!" screamed Cole. He's seating next to me and guess what? I'm near to getting deaf! Curse you Cole, curse you... But I'm almost use to it. Keyword: almost.
"YOURS?! REALLY?! WOW. I don't think so!" Also screamed by Tristan with a snort. Tristan doesn't even know that every moment he snorts, he resembles a pig being tortured.
I'm already done eating so I stand up and put my dirty plate in the sink. I get my backpack just beside my chair and start to say my good byes to my mom and dad. I walked out of our house into the garage to get my car.
Before I get inside of my car, I heard mom scolding my brothers. That's what they get for being two immatured idiot teens. Good for me, I'm a matured teen. Are you? Am I?
I get inside my car and started it and head to my hell of a school.
**
Why do we have to go to school? Why do I have to go to school? The teachers teaches us a lot of things that we can't use in our future lives. Like seriously? Algebra? Fuck this shit. They're teaching something where we could just forget about it - well except for those gifted nerds, maybe - but not the struggles we did when we are trying to understand this and that like our heads is going to explode like a freaking volcano!
Lana, you need to go to school.
And why is that?
To learn.
Which, as the time passes by, the things that I have learned will be just forgotten. What a waste.
It's not a waste if you-
Ugh! Just shut up already!
I looked up to see that I'm now infront of my school and now having a battle in my mind if I will go or not.
I feel so tired today even though I'm just sitting right now. All I just want to do is lay down all day, sleep all day, eat all day and not to worry about so many things. But I'm not like that so I decided against it and just get inside the campus after parking my car in my own parking lot. Cool right? Nah, not cool because I'm still going to school and have one of those classes that will surely make my head, ache.
I just hope that there'll be no annoying bitches, sluts that look like clowns, crazy queen bees, asshol- who am I kidding? This is high school! Of course those people will be there feeling they are the fudging Almighty! UGH. All I can say is UGH. Thats why I hate high school, because of those kind of people lurking around inside. UGH. What? I can't help it.
I jog the small stairs leading in the open doors and get inside of the school. I know a lot of students are staring at me right now but I don't give a damn. They can stare all they want.
I think I'm walking around for like 8 minutes already? But still, I can't find the principal's office!
"New kid problems." I mumbled to myself and snicker. If somebody saw me snickering all by myself they'll think I'm mental.
What the heck? Where the hell is that principal's office?! Is that so small that even a mouse can't see it?! I walk, turn, turn again, dead end? Ugh. Go back, walk, turn another corner, walk, turn, tur- bump. I just bumped into someone.
I'm about to say sorry when I met the familiar blue eyes that I've known since I was born. I don't know that she's studying here which surprises me because I thought she's in Spain right now.
"Lana...?" she gasped and jumped up to hug me. "Oh my gosh! It is you! Lana, don't you know that I've been yearning for you?! I missed you so much! I'm so sorry that I'm not here to plan our summer time together. So sorry."
I hug her back but a moment later I pulled away so I can look at her in the eyes. "Hey! I told you that it's fine right? Also, I did miss you a lot. You know, I understand why you have to go there," Because of her family but it's fine with me. Family always come first even though you've been best friends for life.
"Thank you so much, Lana. Now that I am here, it's time to get cray cray!" Probably students think we're really weird people but what the heck? I don't give a damn.
"Wait, do you know where's the principal's office? I've been finding that office for like hours! It's exhausting you know!" I whined.
"You never change," she said while laughing slightly. "You easily get tired of simple things. The principal's office is just in front of us, Lana. Let me give you a tip, use your eyes,
not your mouth. Okay?" What the..?"Shut up."
I looked up to see the written words, Principal's Office on the sign board. I groaned and push the door of the principal's office open. I saw that a woman is sitting by the desktop typing away. She looked up when she heared the door being opened and when her eyes landed on me, she smile genuinely.
"Are you the new student? Lana Kate Hudson? Am I right?"
"Uh, yes."
"Okay. Here's your schedule." I get my schedule from her hands and mumbled a thank you and get out.
