Jack Johnson's pov

"What mall are we going to, dad?" Evan asked me.

"Crystal mall," I said as I put the car into drive.

Emily sat in the back seat while Evan sat in the passenger seat. Emily was very small for her age. She is only about 5'3 and about 89 pounds.

"Emily?" I asked.

"Yes dad?" Emily said.

"Do you have a phone?" I questioned her.

"No I don't." She replied as an old Miley Cyrus song came on.

I hoped on the plane off LAX

With my dream and my cardigan

Welcome to the land of fame success

Am I gonna fit in?

I jumped in the cab here I am for the first time

All three of us sang at the same time. We will definitely be making our own YouTube channel.

"I already knew that Evan sang but Emily your just as good as Evan," I smiled as I put the car into park.

"But I'm a lot better," Emily smirked.

"Yeah you are," Evan said sarcastically rolling his eyes.

"Come on kids. Let's go shopping," I said in a sang.

"Okay." They both laughed at me.

"Dad! Oh my gosh! Can I get this?" Emily said excitedly holding up a very expensive Obey sweatshirt.

"Sure but that's the only sweatshirt you're getting because it's like 90 degrees outside." I laughed as I paid for her two shirts, skirts and sweatshirt.

After three hours of shopping for shirts, skirts, bathing suits, shorts, and sneakers. We were finally ready to buy Emily's phone. She was only getting an iPhone 5 or 5s or 5c.

"So Emily pick a phone 5, 5s, or 5c?" I asked showing her to the iPhone section.

"Oh I like the 5s one." She smiled.

"Okay pick a color silver, gold, or black." I said as she pointed towards the silver one.

"Evan can you go get get someone to help us." I said as he went and got someone named James.

"Hi we'd like to buy an iPhone 5s silver with 16 gigabytes. The contract will be with Sprint." I smiled at James.

"Well here is your phone I just need you to pay and sign here," he said as I took out my credit card.

"Thank you very much," I smiled at James handing Emily her phone.

"Let's go home and we'll set it up after." I said to Emily.

"Yo Johnson's!" Skate said fist bumping me and Evan

"Who is this?" Kenny asked.

"This is Emily Johnson," I smiled at the both of them.

"I see we've got a newbie." Sammy said.

"Wait a sec. Aren't you guys from like Magcon or something? I know Jack and Jack." Emily questioned.

"Emily were on the Jack and Jack tour. I'm Sammy. This is Nate or Skate, and Kenny." Sammy states.

"Oh okay I know you because this girl who was just put into the orphanage went to one of your concerts." Emily explained.

"That's great," Skate said.

"Yeah I guess," Emily shrugged it off. "My room?"

"I'll take her to her room." Evan said helping her with her bags of clothes.

Evan Johnson's pov

I brought Emily up to her room. I dropped Emily's stuff onto her bed as did Emily. Emily sat down on the bed trying to set her phone up.

"Emily let me see," I said as she tried to hand me her phone but I grabbed her arm.

"Don't even think abo-" I cut her off by pulling her sleeve up.

"I told you to stop," I said tracing my finger over the word she cut 'ugly'.

"Now we are going to tell dad." I demanded throwing her I've my shoulder.

"No! Let me go Evan! We aren't telling dad anything!" Emily yells fussing.

"Aren't going to tell dad what?" Dad asked.

"No Evan please don't. Stop." Emily whimpered.

"Emily what are you hiding from me?" Dad asked.

"Nothing," Emily smiled sweetly.

"Emily Payton Johnson!" Dad yells as she stands still.

"I said nothing," she grunted at dad.

"Damn it Emily! You cut don't you?" Dad snapped as Emily put her head down.

"Emily no I'm sor-" Emily cut dad off.

"Leave me alone," Emily whimpered as she brings her head up. I watched as a tear slip down her face.

"I hate you Evan," she yelled before running off to her room.

"Dad she's going to do it," I said running after her pounding in her door.

"Emily don't do it. Dad and I can help!" I yelled as dad kicked the door down.

"Emily! No!" I yelled seeing a bottle of pills in her hand.

I ran over towards Emily jumping and knocking the bottle out of her hand.

"No! You ruined it!" Emily yells trying to grab all of the pills.

"Stop it Emily! It's not going to work! It'll only make it worse! Dad and I will just stop you!" I yelled stepping on the pills and crushing them.

"You can't make it better! The pain won't go away!" Yells Emily.

"It will go away I swear Emily. I know it's going away." I say calmly grabbing her and putting her on the bed.

I cuddle with her because that always helped her. I hear her crying. I turned her body towards me and wiped her tears away kissing her forehead.

"I love you Emily." I smile at her as she smiled back crying.

"Kids!" Dad yelled from downstairs.

"Yeah?" I yelled back.

"Come down here I want you to meet someone," dad replied.

"Come on Emily." I said pulling her up.

"I don't want to go downstairs." She cried harder.

"I know but we have to." I said using my sleeve to dry her tears.

"Carry me down," Emily said as she got on my back.

I pulled her onto my back. Then carefully going downstairs. Dad was holding hands with someone but I don't know who.

"Evan and Emily meet Paige my girlfriend." Dad smiled as Paige gave us a fake smile.

Paige was a short blonde who looked like a Barbie doll. With too much makeup and all of her clothes showing things that I do not even want to say.

"Hi!" She said very cheery trying to hug me and Emily at the same time.

"You break us up and you're dead," she muttered as my eyes widened.

"I uh nice to meet you!" I smiled falsely and Emily nodded her head in agreement.

"Glad to know you guys are going to be good together," dad smiled as me and Emily ran back upstairs.
