Emily Johnson's pov

Recap

"Emily?" I hear someone say.

No. No. No. This can't be happening right now. Please Hayes is the only person who really knows me. Except for Gabe. I mean I don't even know him or anything. Please god don't let it be Hayes.

Present

I look up to find Skylynn looking at me. Oh my gosh this is even worse.

"I'll go get Hayes." She yells running to get Hayes.

"No! Don't! Please!" I yell but she was too far away to hear me.

I cut my wrist just a little more vertically. Just so I can leave this fucking world.

"Emily I was looking for yo- EMILY WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Hayes screams as Skylynn locks his bedroom door.

I hear everything go silent while Hayes is still yelling at me. I feel like I've gone deaf. Then my sight was going blurry. Last thing I saw was Hayes and Skylynn on the phone.

Hayes Grier's pov

"NO! EMILY STAY WITH ME! COME ON EMILY!" I yell but her eyes close.

"Hayes their coming." Skylynn says.

I run out on the balcony of the second floor turning the music off.

"Aye! Parties been cancelled!" I yell as everyone continues to talk.

"Hey the cops are coming!" I scream as everyone goes a running.

"Skylynn give me that towel." I say putting pressure on Emily's arm.

"Come on Emily. Please don't leave me." I cry on her chest.

"Why would she do this?! Why?!" I yell as I hear a knock on the door.

"What do you want?" I yell opening the door.

"Hi Haysie boo. I haven't seen you in so long." Amy throws herself at me.

"Get the hell off me, you whore. You did this to Emily?! You should stop being such a slut and actually care about what the hell you say! Get the hell out of my house. I swear if you come anywhere near me I will call the cops!" I scream in her face as she runs off crying.

"Hayes. I don't feel her pulse anymore." Skylynn's voice breaks.

"No." I say picking her up and bringing her downstairs.

"Where are they?!" I scream outside as the ambulance pulls into the driveway.

"Sir what's her name? Age? And her guardian?" The officer asked me.

"Emily Johnson, 14 and her father is Jack Johnson." I say very quickly. "She doesn't have a pulse."

"Get her to the hospital quickly." He says to the medic. "I'm going to need to ask you some questions. Who was the first to find Emily?"

"My little sister, Skylynn. But I would like it if you wouldn't ask her any questions." I reply.

"Alright. Has she had problems like this in the past?" Officer Schmidt asked me.

"I don't know. I just met her yesterday. Please let us go with her. Ask her dad." I cry.

"Go before they leave," he says as I put Skylynn on my back and run over to the ambulance getting in.

"Is she okay?" I ask while Skylynn sits on my lap crying.

"She is alive but she is still unconscious." The medic says.

"I need to call her dad." I say pulling my phone out as he nodded at me.

"Yo Hayes. What's up?" Johnson says.

"Um Jack I have some bad news, it's Emily." I say.

"Hayes what happened!" He yells through the sun.

"Um someone said something to her and I don't really know what they said but Skylynn found her with at least four cuts in her arm. When I came up she cut her arm even more and she's stable but she's still unconscious." I say.

"What fucking hospital?!" Jack screams into the phone.

"Omaha Hospital." I say as he ends the call. (A/N: idk if that's an actual hospital so just go with it lol)

"We're almost there." The medic says as I nod.

"Is she okay?" Skylynn asks hugging my side.

"She's going to be fine," I fake a smile trying to lift her spirit up.

"Okay," Skylynn says.

*two hours later*

Jack Johnson's pov

"Where is Emily Johnson? Is she out of surgery yet? Is she okay?" I ask the lady at the desk.

"Sir please sit down for the twentieth time. I don't have any new information on her yet." She snaps as I growl at her.

Emily Johnson's pov (didn't see this coming huh?)

"Emily." Someone says.

"Huh? Mom?" I ask surprised.

"Honey. You need to go back." Mom says.

"No I'm staying with you." I say strictly.

"Only for a little bit. We can talk for a little bit while your here. But we can only stay right here." Mom says as I nod.

We talked for a long time. It felt like only such a short time.

"Mom why'd you put me in the orphanage?" I ask.

"Emily I was dying of cancer. I didn't want you to know because I didn't want to hurt you by leaving you." Mom said. "Honey I need to tell you something."

"Oh please tell me." I say.

"Every hour here is two days on earth." Mom explains to me.

"What?! I've been here for seven hours! More like two weeks!" I say. "I need to go back."

"I love you very much." Mom says as she walks into a bright light.

"I love you too." I whisper.

"I love you Emily Payton Johnson. I always will love you. Just please don't leave me. I need you here in this world with me." Hayes says crying as he holds my hand.

"Hayes?" I croak clearing my throat.

"Emily!" Hayes shouts kissing my face and lips. "Nurse!"

"Sir what's wrong?" The nurse ask as she came in the room running.

"She's awake," he smiles happily.

"Hello Emily. How are you feeling right now?" The nurse asks me.

"I'm feeling okay but my body hurts." I say not being able to move any part of my body.

"Your body will be in a lot of pain since you just got out of a coma." Nurse Jackson says. "I'll bring you some pain killers. I'll be right back sit tight."

"That's the only thing I can do." I laugh as Hayes and nurse Jackson laugh with me.

"I heard what you said but only the last like five sentences though." I smile at Hayes.

"You did?" Hayes looks up smiling and blushing at me.

"Yeah I did. Your a cutie when you blush." I giggle.

"I know," he chuckles at me.

"I've been in the coma for two weeks right?" I ask him.

"Yeah. How'd you know?" Hayes asked surprised.

"Someone from above told me." I smile. "Don't worry about it. It's nothing."

"Oh okay." Hayes say grabbing my hand and holding it.

"I'm so in love with you," I smile very big.

"My one and only love. My infinity. I'm stupidly in love with you," Hayes smiles giving me a long passionate kiss.
