Five years later

Hayes Grier's pov

"Emily, wake up," I say. "It's Jake's tenth birthday."

Emily shoots up and tells me get Avery and the twins up. I rush over to Avery's room and wake her up. Then rush over to the twins' room. I get Hanna and Drew out of their cribs. The twins are only a year old. I changed their diapers and they ran off to our master bedroom.

Avery went downstairs with Emily to go and help make the birthday breakfast. I went back to my bedroom and grabbed the twins putting each twin on my hip. I set them on their high chairs and gave them their bottles. Once they start eating I begin to help Emily out cooking the bacon and scrambled eggs.

"Mom? Dad?" I can hear Jake's voice echo throughout our house.

"Downstairs." Emily say as her voice echoes.

"Morning." He yawns rubbing his eyes and scratching his bare chest.

"Happy birthday!" We all yell and the twins tried saying it but they just babbled away.

"Thanks!" He exclaims running to us giving us all hugs and kisses on the cheeks.

Jake tried to kiss Drew on the forehead but he decided to throw his bottle at him.

"Drew!" Emily yells picking the bottle up and throwing it in the sink.

"It's fine, mom." Jake says ruffling Drew's hair up.

"Well let's get eating this amazing breakfast that your mom made." I say picking Avery up and kissing her forehead.

"Alright," Jake laughed picking a plate up and placing everything that we made on to his plate.

After a few hours it was time for the twins' and Avery's nap time. Jake helped me put the twins to sleep while Emily got Avery to sleep only by singing to her.

"Thank you, Jake." I say placing Hanna in her crib as he places Drew in his crib.

"No problem, dad." He smiles.

"I'm so happy your my son," I smile at him.

"I'm happy your my dad." Jake smiles giving me a hug.

"I'm glad your here because I wouldn't have your mom if it weren't for you. And I wouldn't have you." I smile at Jake kissing his forehead noticing that he was almost as tall as me.

"So what'd you wanna do for dinner?" I ask.

"Pizza and movies with the family." He smiles.
