chapter 3

(Laura's POV)

After waking up and getting ready, I run down to the common room to read a book. I went to take a seat by the window, pulling out my book, and paleople immediately walked the other way. I didn't think much of it because it's been the same my whole life.

A couple of minutes later, James, Remus, Sirius, and Peter walked into the common room. Remus saw me first, and his face immediately lit up. He muttered something I couldn't quite hear over the noise and then sprinted over to me.

"Hey," He said in a shy voice.

"Hi Remus. How are you on this fine morning?" I ask, becoming more comfortable around him and the others.

"I'm good.what about you?"

"I'm pretty good. You lot up to anything today?"

"No, I was wondering if you would want to spend time together, you know just me and you. I feel like it would be good to spend time with someone with the same interests. Speaking of what book are you reading?"

"Oh, um, it's a book from a muggle library. It's called 'Fear and Loathing in Las vegas'."

"Is it any good?"

"Yeah, it's pretty good."

"Follow me," He said.

"What, why? Where are we going?" She began to question.

"Do you trust me?"

"Well, yes, but I still want to know where we're going"

"Look as long as you trust me it will be fine." He promised with a reassuring smile.

"Alright then," she said, still not sure.

-TIME SKIP-

"Where are we? I mean, it's beautiful but I'd like to know how to get here." She asked.

"The black lake." He said "its calm. I come here to think and study when the boys get a bit much." He let's out the end with a quiet laugh.

" Yeah, I get that. serius was a lot when it was just him and his brother. I can only imagine what he's like with James."
I giggle in return.

"Yeah."
