When Rosé left the building, she felt renewed with life. Jacob had introduced her to basically everyone except the head guys of the law school. She couldn't believe the fortune of meeting this man. She hoped that Jennie's lunch with her mother yielded positive results, as well. Looking around, her eyes were drawn to brunette hair. Rosé could see Jennie hunched over a sketchbook. Walking down the steps in front of the law building she came to a halt in front of Jennie. Jennie didn't seem to notice her until she looked up for a new view.
"Hey!" Jennie said in surprise.
Rosé grinned at her. "Hi. What are you up to?"
Jennie shrugged. "Just, you know, drawing. It's what I do."
Rosé laughed. "Yes, I suppose that is true." She really looked at Jennie and saw the strain on the brunette's face. Sitting next to Jennie, she nudged her with her shoulder. "I take it brunch didn't go well?"
Jennie snorted. "Well, to be fair, brunch is usually a meal with snooty bitches so..."
"Now hold on!" Rosé protested, not really meaning it. "Most of the women in my family enjoy brunches... oh, wait." Rosé looked at Jennie from the corner of her eye.
Jennie looked at her in confusion, before the joke seemed to dawn on her. Jennie then gave a very unsexy snort, before playfully elbowing the blonde.
Rosé grinned. "How about we get a meal that doesn't have the guilt or condescension?"
Jennie groaned. "God yes, I left before eating and I'm starving."
Rosé laughed and got up holding her hand out to help the brunette up.
Once Jennie was standing, she immediately hugged the blonde. "Thank you," Jennie said quietly.
Rosé wrapped her arms around the shorter woman. "There's nothing to thank me for." She leaned back and gave Jennie a smile. "Come on, show me another of your favorite food places."
Jennie's eyes lit up and took Rosé's hand, pulling the blonde towards the parking lot.

On the way to eat, Rosé had insisted it was a meal, not brunch because there would be no snark or passive-aggressive belittling remarks, which made the brunette laugh and was greatly appreciated. Afterward, Jennie requested that they go back to the gallery. Rosé, of course, was for it, and so the duo made their way to Jennie's pride and joy.
"I'm sorry about this," Jennie said.
Rosé shook her head. "This is your baby, you need to have hands-on care when you can."
Jennie quirked an eyebrow at the blonde.
Rosé sighed. "Sorry, it was something one of the law professors was trying to explain about a case he had had..."
Jennie laughed, "I'm almost happy I missed your tour."
Rosé chuckled. She had already explained to Jennie how amazing she thought meeting the professors was. Apparently, a lot of them had already heard about her from Jieun, which shocked Rosé. Jennie started wondering if the scary professor was trying to mold Rosé into the perfect recruit with some super-secret organization.
Jennie was happy for Rosé. The blonde worked hard and deserved the recognition. Jennie knew Rosé was incredibly intelligent and she knew the blonde would go far in her life, if only just to spite her family name. Jennie was going to make sure she supported Rosé through as much of it as she could.
They pulled up to the gallery and made their way inside.
"Oh, I know we kind of talked about this over our meal, but are you okay with going out with Irene tonight?" Jennie asked.
