Not So Angry Now, Are You?

"SHE STOLE MY GOLD STAR! I KNOW SHE DID! AND I WORKED SO HARD FOR IT!"

"I DID NOT. YOU'RE JUST MAKING STUFF UP!"

"I SAW YOU, THOUGH! STOP LYING!"

He looked up from his paper to see the two girls bickering. He really wanted his break to be a little more enjoyable, but what was he expecting. His classmates were pretty childish.

Well, not that he can really say he himself isn't just as much, if not more.

"Why would I ever do that to you? I don't understand why you're accusing me! You're being so mean!"

"Just—UGHHH! This would be so much easier if you'd just admit to it! You're gonna grow up to be a criminal."

"WHAT?!"

Their bickering only got louder as he took a yellow pencil, coloring in his piece as he absentmindedly listened along.

"If you're going to be so mean, maybe you don't even deserve the star!"

"You take that back!"

"NO! It's true!"

He watched the scissors carefully cut around his craft, the yelling becoming a little overbearing for everybody else as he cut off a piece of tape.

"You're just making me out to be the villain for no good reason!" She jabbed a finger, "That kind of person doesn't deserve ANY reward!"

"I saw you with my own two eyes, you jerk! You just don't wanna tell the truth!"

"I AM telling the truth! YOU'RE the one who's lying!"

"AM NOT!"

"ARE TOO!"

"AM NOT!

"ARE TOO!"

"THIS IS WHY NOBODY ACTUALLY—"

They're cut off by the sound of footsteps filling their ears, as they both turn and see the owner of those footsteps walking towards them, holding something in their hand..?

The girl on the left looked down at the craft as the shorter boy held it out towards her. A little cut out, shaped like a star and messily scribbled in yellow. It's not nearly as good as the real thing, but, hey, it's the thought that counts isn't it?

"You can have this instead, if you'd like."

The girl on the right also looked at him.

"Just, please, shut up."

He'd never admit something as sappy as this to said person, but he did kinda hate seeing his friend all worked up over this. I mean, it's only the first few days of school and the poor guy's stressed himself out over Leafy.

Coiny couldn't entirely blame him, in all the years he'd been in this school, he'd watched said girl like a hawk, even if not meaning to. And she was..odd, to say the least. Maybe even desperate.

There was a tiny part of him that thought maybe, maybe she was at least a little genuine. But, he didn't think about it as much to really come to a conclusion.

He knew he'd only get tired if he thought about it too hard, or even tried to interact more with his schoolmate. So he rather saved that for homework.
